Not everybody will be disappointed.

When I first read the headline I though probably he prefers to be rich and not dead.

Because I imagine, without evidence, that it is a dangerous job to fight corruption in this country. Too many rich and powerful people are the enemies.

Correct. Get killed if too honest. Honest people arent suited to business or gov.

You have to be half crooked or worse.

Honest people sell noodles for 40 baht.

The NACC faulted Prayad for allegedly deliberately concealing his assets by providing false statements about six of them when he assumed the post as deputy secretary-general on January 4th, 2017.

Tip of a huge iceberg - lets get all the top ministers in government to declare their assets and especially "increase" in wealth over the last 3 years, now that would be an interesting read,

Also, how about tracing where exacly the money Prayad accumulated actually came from - another interesting read

Top ministers - PM's and deputies don't have to declare because they have nothing to hide ...... right :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

SO DECLARE THEN what are you hiding

Nobody will be surprised, but everyone will be disappointed.

Not everybody will be disappointed, because the guy who will take his place is probably already licking his chops and opening several off shore bank accounts to hide all the money he’s going to steal.

Well no surprise here, more Government officials should be investigated,  and certainly the top 10..

It should also be worth checking all the corruption cases he has worked on in the past. He must have gotten the 658 million for treating one or the other case "benevolently".
