It happend at the Na Don police station in Nakhon Phanom on Sunday evening. Picture: Siam Rath Anuchit, 49, from Phon Thong sub-district said his 21 year old son Natthamon suffered head and body injuries and bruising following the attack on the second floor of the police station. He explained that he had been eating with his son about a kilometer away when a pick-up pulled up that his son thought had been involved in a collision with a friend's motorcycle. He took a picture which angered the policeman who owned the pick-up. Picture: Siam Rath He called for back-up and 4/5 officers arrived and dragged his son away to the police station and beat him up. The station chief Pol Lt-Col Bunrak Chertchu has said that the aggrieved parties would meet today to discuss compensation. Popular Post ezzra Posted October 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 20, 2022 This is a case of police brutality and for no fault or reason, i would have sued the police department but the victim probably afraid of repercussion if he will... 3 1
mikebell Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 RTP bring the force into disrepute every time they don the uniform. Why doesn't the National police chief do something? It'll be machetes on children next. 1 1
Popular Post mikeymike100 Posted October 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 20, 2022 The problem in Thailand is the Police are a law unto themselves. There is apparently no oversight, corruption is out of control and nobody does anything! 4
TheFishman1 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 No surprise the police here have absolutely no oversight committee so basically they do their own investigation and punishment which usually means a few months an active post or transfer the biggest criminals in this country are the police they’re involved in every underhanded means of collecting money they put the word corruption to a new meaning TIT 1
freedomnow Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Gonna get me a moustache like that. Somchai.

Prayuth promised a complete overhaul of the police, military and civil service. I wonder when he will start? 2 1

rankric Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Couple of scratches, dramatics over exaggerated by optics. Optics created the problem. If those injuries are the extent of complaint, moustache has got off very lightly.
