Witnesses told police that a male suspect used a long knife to attack the victim before speeding away with a gold necklace.

The suspect later surrendered to Phuket City police but his name and age was not immediately made available to the press.

Robbery by the sounds of it ....

And the motive.......................................................? More abysmal journalism! Why publish half a story?

The article says the perp sped away with a gold necklace. Isn't that enough for you to go on for the time being?

According to the report above the suspect sped away with a gold necklace. Sounds like a motive to me. What more do you want ?

A 6.45am gold robbery? I suspect the victim and perpetrator were known to each other.  The gold is a side issue.

Name withheld? Pending the search for the foreign gang leader?

I feel that a crime is not a crime unless there is some pointing going on.
