Okay I have to ask.  Why do people start drinking in bars as soon as they open.

To stop their hands from shaking!

Because they have a serious problem with alcohol. That's why I do it ????

Normally Alcoholics. Same as smoking addiction, wake up light up.

Not just something that farangs do here in Thailand. Just go to a Wetherspoons Pub in the UK at breakfast time (even earlier than 09:00am).

How do you know that they start drinking at 9.00am? They may not have stopped from the day before!

I had my first beer at 1030 this morning, had 4 smalls, I like that early morning buzz.

Not member of any breakfast club, and have no intention to join one. 

 

Most who do this frequently have a health problem in my eyes.

Sometimes I'm half drunk by noon. So what?????

Probably it's better to gobble down some of those lovely high carb cereals, breads, to feel healthier.

Yes , but why in a bar and not the comfort of your own home , dressed down with your feet up.

I thought another reason. please follow:

bars make most in the evening. less at daytime and almost nill morning, but smart owner might lure suckers [say] with super-duper discounts? those average farang ding-dong won't resist?

I reckon working girls throwing discounts in the morning hours at walking street, why not do the same trick with beer bars?

smart time management, no?
