My 33 years of experience here suggests otherwise.

  • Nobody trusts them for two reasons, many of them are liars and crooks.

  • So, what were the charges against he "Actress"?   Appearing to be drunk? Having Vaping equipment in her hand-bag? I do not see that she has been charged with any offence, so what excuse

You very obviously have little or no experience in dealing with the Thai Police.

He eats pizza with them.

Trust has to be earned, and should never, ever, be freely given. You simply cannot ask us to trust you guys. You have to step up, do the hard work, abandon the franchise, make real sacrifices, and demonstrate to us you are worthy of the trust.

You dislike social media, because you dislike the dissemination of truth. Truth hurts. Social media can be the enemy of sloth, and corruption. Sorry guys. Reality can be harsh.

Ok, enough of this.  I need to have a private meeting with that actress in Taiwan.  I will need 48 hours of intense discussions with her in my hotel suite.

A full report will be prepared upon my return.

Publicity, following, are you that naive.

Being in newspapers in Thailand and on Thai social media is not exactly a hit career move. It's a non-story in Taiwanese media. Or are you that naive?

Another frigging Thai hater, making stories up.

Deport her and black list.

She has made it clear that she likes the Thai people, but hates filthy cops. I feel the same way. Most people feel the same way. This has nothing to do with keeping the image of Thailand intact, no matter what. That is not real life. That is a wet dream of the cops. Times are changing. And the spotlight of truth can be harsh.

And that is a good thing.

Wow the RTP is better than Vaudeville Theatre, goes on and on and never closes.  Hahaha!

(check the dude on the right, his pose, he wants you to know he is really serious hahaha!)

Funny how stupid Thai police are they think we  are all Kwai's ! Only need look into mirror ???? to see for themselves

Pol Maj-Gen Jirasan Kaewsaeng-ek said that the Thai public should get their information from the Thai police not social media, reported Thai Rath.

Then it would be reliable.

joke of the year 555   .... if you want people to trust you and your cronies just post the CCTV video, if there's nothing to hide (I doubt but...) just make it public that's a way of earning trust from the people

"...many of them are liars and crooks".

And that same description does not apply to many civilians who post their, so far, unverified claims on social media?

Regarding the CCTV he said it was all from afar and the people and what they were doing at the checkpoint cannot be identified clearly.

and how convenient that is  555  but if the CCTV exonerated RTP it would have been clear as a clear sky on a sunny day

If anyone here on this forum believes the RTP on this, they are as blind as a bat.

I have been stopped at road blocks many times, accused of speeding when I haven't, and a few years back at the usual road block, I got my wife to video my driving a few minutes out from the road block. I was in the video as the driver and you could see the speedometer wasn't moving from 78kmh as it was on cruise control.

I was in an 80kmh zone and when we were stopped the officer approached, and said to the wife, your husband was speeding, pull over there and pay the fine, my wife said, no he wasn't, we have the video here to prove it, oh, ok, said the officer, pull over there and pay the fine for travelling in the overtaking lane.....<deleted>- my Mrs was starting to flair up, me afraid she would be arrested, walked into the tent and paid the 400 baht fine.

There have been other fines for BS, and of course I have learnt to let the wife get arrested, if they dare, she just throw a couple of hundred baht at them, curses them and tells me to DRIVE !!!!

Naturally I comply, because when my little kitty turns into a Lioness, I don't dare do anything to upset her further as it was brought on my me, if it was me that upset her and she flared up like she did to the cops, then I would beat my chest like a Silverback and she would retreat, i.e. everyone has there limits, but it all depends on the circumstances, and I reckon a Silverback could take out a Lioness, maybe not, never ventured down that path because she knows better, that or maybe she doesn't want a broken or missing ATM ????

Another DIRTY influencer???????????????????????????????? the hen shall go working!

She said she loves Thailand. Did you miss that part? Her only problem was with the Thai police. And while you say she's "another", why not give us any more examples - preferably where you know the full story and not just half of it, as in this case.

I can tell you, I had to pay them 6000 baht a few times to do something that was normally their job ....  I know they aren't telling the truth.  I don't trust thai's one bit and the cops even less.

I take it you have had no corrupt interaction with the RTP ?

What we would have to benefit from by telling our true stories, would that make us RTP bashers ?

A friend of mine was asked to pay 100,000 so they would investigate his house being broken into and his SUV stolen (they found the key in the house). The 'security guard' of the estate vanished the same day, which kind of pointed to who might be involved. He was so 'disappointed' at their service that he decided to leave this ****hole and move back to Australia - and his Thai wife was only too happy to go with him.

Social media, much as we rightly criticise ,is a double edge sword, serving as here to turn the spotlight on unaccountable bodies and practices that can get away with egregious practices based on their control. Often this uncomfortable focus is the only way to influence modification of such poor behaviour . To this end this incident has already done its job serving to dish up embarrassment and concern where it really hurts - damage to the tourist industry. It encourages others to come forward with their own experiences serving to contribute evidence where it has been engineered (forced deletion of footage) away.

Concurrent with the police escort scandal this lady has already won, leaving RTP and government to squirm around in a damage limitation exercise and  make them realise that there are consequences to their actions and eventually hopefully bring about beneficial change. There will be no other motivation otherwise.

Whilst I partly agree that social media might be an unreliable news source, I'd believe it any day over the word of the RTP.

RTP spokesman says "trust us" not social media

Yes, trust you. Trust you not to wear body cams, even though mandated by your own policies, trust you because can stand at attention for a photo op, trust you because you don't cheat at your own exams, trust you for protecting your image and not the public, trust you for decades of lies, extortions, crimes and cover-ups.

I do trust you with one thing though, that your next attempt at deflection and white-washing will be even more pathetic and inept than the previous one,... and it's just around the corner.

Did he say that with a straight face?

History tell us that the RTP are corrupt and liars, look at the amount of investigations going right now?
