Well - to be fair - as distasteful as his comments were - neither did Michael Knowles if you read what he said. He is basically saying they don't exist anyway

So how do you eradicate transgenderism without eradicating the transgenders?

 - not allow transgender people to walk around in the clothes they prefer (sorry Eddie Izzard - you are banned)

 - ban all talk of transgenders in public space including health issues?

 - Ban all transgender in media - no drag race, no Edna Everidge, no British pantomimes (there goes Sir Ian McKellan in Mother Goose then) - Priscilla, Queen of the Desert removed from Netflix

 - keep them locked up somewhere in a prison unless they agree to not "look transgender"?

Transgender people are part of the public, citizens, members of the body politic, they are an inseparable part of public life.

Rightwing hate mongering will not change that, but it will almost certainly give rise to an increase in hate crimes against transgender people.

I think the main issue, as has been so aptly demonstrated here, is there are so many who agree. 
You hear “well he didn’t actually mean kill them” Then May I suggest you dont use the word “eradicate”. 
And this idea the left is as bad as the right just doesn’t hold true. I don’t see the left attempting to victimize so many minority groups, that’ll be exclusively the right.
