I suspect you are in Thailand on a Non-Immigrant Visa, initially valid for up to 90 days, with the possibility of extending it for up to 365 days based on a specific extension category. Regardless of the reason for your extension, you remain, in essence, glorified tourist and if you are lucky the immigration officer may grant you an additional 12 months of stay. Any perceived entitlements you believe you have are purely imaginary. It’s time to face reality.
Only used an agent once. Went there based on a recommendation from a reply on this forum. Got ripped off for 7,000 Baht. Didn't see it coming before I was preyed upon as the scheme was elaborate. Live and learn.
