Members will soon be able to change preferences to auto-answer topics with realistic, automated replies that consider previous posting history.  Member settings allow for automatic posting of replies, freeing up time when not at the keyboard. 

 

In the future, moderation actions will also be automated. This will result in more consistent moderation and allow AN to save substantial amounts of money.   Emails to Support will be exclusively answered by the AI system.

 

ChatGPT (AKA - AseanNow Prompt Generation Technology) will also produce targeted threads and posts in various forums to stimulate member discussions. This system is currently under test so members may see auto-generated threads, please treat them like any other thread.

 

Additionally, the AN News team has been partially replaced with AI and 90% of News content will now be produced by ChatGPT after scanning local, national and international events.

 

The new system is also auto-generating  banners and pictures on AN and news story photos, which will improve quality and SEO.

 

Upcoming developments include integrating ChatGPT with AseanNow's network of dating sites which will enable members to communicate directly with  their computer or mobile device, state their preferences and ChatGPT will arrange a date with a person matching the criteria.

Would never trust it. It's even been programmed to be politically one sided. 

Hmm....I don't want to be the one to spoil the fun.

so every time we write an email or even communicate online, we won't know if we're talking to a machine.

Folks we dont need to type or think or have opinions about any thing any more....We can have AI do it all for us......Not thinking will be so convenient....

Fantastic idea! Now I won’t have to waste time on replies to inane comments or off-topic posts. I hope that it will also incorporate the Auto-translate Function (ATF), which should greatly ease the burden on Webfact, not to mention provide additional hours of amusement for AN readers.

If it's a special AN version, will it include grammar errors and bad spelling?  ????

I've tried it a few times and only get an incomplete paragraph. Is there a way to get the full reply from ChatGPT?

Will replies be clearly annotated to show that they are computer generated rubbish or an actual human generated response?

If not annotated then Goodbye from me!

i asked elsewhere whether these responses will be considered as "facts" or will "proper references/sources" to so called facts still be required?
