The Duchess of Sussex sent a letter to King Charles expressing concern about unconscious bias in the Royal Family, according to reports.

Meghan sent the letter after her appearance with Prince Harry on the Oprah Winfrey Show in March 2021, a source has told The Daily Telegraph.

The Daily Telegraph's source claimed the exchange is part of the reason why Meghan is not attending the King's coronation, claiming she feels that she did not receive a satisfactory response to her concerns.

Well, her weak-willed whimp of a hubby is most certainly not standing side by side with her on the issue of attending the Coronation at least. There may well be adverse consequences for him at her hands on account of this wilful act of defiance on his part!

The temerity of this woman, expressing her opinions to her father-in-law.

Off with her head.

A few gross generalisations there, Transam.

Megan's been about a bit? Has she also had an adulterous affair with a married man while she, too, was married, as is the case with her future step-mother in law?

A little off topic deflection there. Why should a US citizen married to a UK citizen still to US affairs? Or anybody for that matter. Pretty weak tea you're drinking there.

It's like non royal people don't play away to read some of the posts on here.

With a 50% divorce rate it's probably normal these days.

But most of us are not meant to be some moral figurehead, head of the church of England, about to be anointed by holy snake oil from the church of the sepulchre at great public expense etc.

The Crown are net contributors to the economy. The public will not be out of pocket.

You knew that anyway. You just wanted to stir, I guess.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are, without a doubt, the most interesting, colorful and honorable members of the Royal Family.  Without them, the entire family is about as interesting as milk toast.  It is a great loss to the family that Meghan won't be there, but being the dutiful mother that she is, and considering the unwillingness of the Crown to provide proper protection for her and the children , she has made the decision to safely stay in the US with her children.

She wrote the letter to Charles AFTER she had publicly accused the royal family of racism.

Is it my imagination, or are the Sussexes becoming irrelevant. I am seeing and hearing less and less of them, which is a very good thing.

Looking forward to gauging the British public's thoughts on Harry by the volume of booo's wherever he appears during his Coronation visit.

I wonder if Harry was as bothered about his looks when he was born?

Why would King Charles bother to reply to this little chancer?

To provide Markle with more material for a book or Netflix series? So she can take the reply onto a late night talkshow? No, the best way to deal with a narcissist is to ignore them and hope they go away - forever.

Forget about "unconscious bias": there is plenty of bias among the semi conscious members of family that got fortune and fame due to accident of birth

Reckon there's a 90% chance,  that Harry will get Booed. ( hope so ) at king Charles's coronation.

I suspect it will be a very long, very uncomfortable day for him.

However, given that his association with the Royal Family is all he has to trade on, he has little choice but to attend. I wonder if he will do the US talk show circuit on his return to the US, to play the victim once again and complain about how everyone was so horrible to him.

Or maybe he'll have enough dirt to start slinging for a volume 2 of Waaagh?

Yes, Waaagh 2.

Years ago, the two would be sampling the delights of the Tower of London by now.

His association with the royal family? He is literally a member of the royal family! To a person, none of his relatives have anything to offer but that. He is no different to the rest of them in trying to maintain his relevance in a society that is increasingly realising that they are an undemocratic anachronism.
