A basic and factual element may refer to the retirees pension investments globally speaking.  They gave far better yields under Trump, then with Biden. With that in mind, I may assume that many a Democrat with some grub in his portfolio,  would rightfully prefer a secured future on his investments,  over any other ideology.

No offence please and if this upsets you, I appologize. But the reality I'm afraid is a bit different. If we were solely to abide by facts and figures, the iphone would never have existed !!!!   Policy makers all r in governance,  business... are surrounded by technocrats with facts and figures that can make sense, But one needs to think beyond the box if you wish to acheive innovation and progress. A bit beyond CNN or Fox maybe !!!  But I fully understand for a Carthesian mind, creativity, innovation or common sense can have little meaning and thus the sole arguments stongly remain by the box or the book. However my main criteria for credibility is the use of credible, linked sources in support of facts.   MAGA types don't do that very often.  When was the last time you did that?

So both Biden and Trump to be jailed. Why not house Congress and the Supreme Court in the same facility? Capital Hill and the White House could then either be turned into social housing or a theme park. Selfishly, my preference is for the second option.

Effectively state control? Buriisma had the prosecutor in its pocket. The Chinese company had a government contract? Didn't that company go bankrupt? That's your reasoning? Wasn't the CEO of this company ultimately jailed on corruption charges?

I would not be at all surprised to learn that a billionaire committed a crime or two along the way, but in Trump's case, living a very public life, are either buried so deep as not able to be found, or so minor as to not amounting to much.

 

As I see it, his crime was exposing the Washington "swamp" ( in his words ) for all to see, and for that he will never be forgiven, IMO.

Prior to his 2016 campaign probably everyone knew, but no one was prepared to use it against them.
