Teenage intern injured in mysterious fall from six-storey building; Enigmatic circumstances leave many questions unanswered

In a baffling incident that took place early yesterday, a 19 year old intern was found injured in a car park, having mysteriously fallen from a six-storey building. The young man was diagnostically undressed and bore injuries across his body.

Rescuers from the Thamma Ratsamee Maneerat Foundation and a medical team from Chonburi Hospital found the man lying on the bonnet of a damaged Toyota Yaris. His fall appeared to have caused extensive damage to the car’s front glass.

The intern, with the assumed name of ‘A’, was unable to answer any inquiries due to his condition. Initial medical assistance was provided at the scene before he was urgently transported to Chonburi Hospital.

In the young man’s room on the sixth floor, an open balcony area showed signs, along with a pile of faecal matter and a plate, which suggests he may have fallen from there.

The dormitory supervisor, Natthacha Suwannaphan, 21 years old, revealed that ‘A’ had recently moved in with two other friends. They all were trainees at a vocational college in Lampang. It’s still unclear what led to ‘A’s fall, as Natthacha claimed she had only heard a loud noise but had no other insight into the incident.

The only thing more bizarre than these tragic tales is the way they're reported.    How does one undress diagnostically? Sounds like what you'd do for a prostate exam.

  • Precise reporting but..................was the faecal matter on the plate or near the plate??? ????

Should we try some crowd-funding and get Mr. Westwood a dictionary? ????

all kind mysterious incidents happens all ove rThailand, people fall from balconies, floors, and commit suicide, with no evidence...Proper inverstigation of police and journalists could solve a lot.... or do I watch too many movies?

I suspect that the key words here are "Vocational College".

The boys who are students there often do their best to live up to their reputation, whether they are having shootouts with students from a 'rival' school or torturing each other with hazing rituals.

The mystery deepens...

Most likely sick, vomitted over the balcony and followed "the content of his stomach". An actual description of a suicide quite a few years ago in the Pattaya Mail.  "followed the content of his stomach" - you have to think of that first!

What on earth does that version of the original report mean?

Why would he need a dictionary?

That's not how the original article reported the circumstances.

No they didn't, they found him naked.  Even if they had cut his clothes off that wouldn't have made him "diagnostically undressed".

Probably mean they used scissor to cut up his clothes so they could assess the extent of his injuries before moving him...just a guess

That's why it was reported that the police are  investigating the circumstances.

Better to read the report than to guess, he was found undressed...

"A 19 year old intern yesterday was found injured in a car park, having mysteriously fallen from a six-storey building. The young man was undressed and bore injuries across his body".

An enigmatic fall of a young man who was diagnostically undressed.

Is this the authors attempts at Peabody level journalism? Or a stab at flowery poetry?

The balconies here seem to be highly risky. It is rather amazing how often someone falls, jumps or is pushed off one. Hope this guy recovers. One would imagine the injuries he sustained could be quite severe.

Maybe he slipped on the plate of shh11tt ?

Maybe the cleaning department are  to blame ?

Drugs the guy got naked took a dump on the other kid plate got upset pushed him over and went to sleep LOL.

Hey a plastic bag to confirm?

Love the language … I need to look up “diagnostically undressed” …. oh … don't worry, just asked my A.I. assistant …..

The phrase "diagnostically undressed" is not a commonly used or recognized expression in standard English. It seems to be a combination of words that may have been used in a specific context or by someone as a creative or metaphorical expression. Without further context or information, it is difficult to provide a precise meaning for this phrase.

However, if we break down the individual words, "diagnostically" refers to something related to diagnosis or the process of determining the nature of a condition or problem. "Undressed" typically means being without clothing or stripped of covering.

Putting these together, it could potentially suggest a metaphorical concept of being exposed or analyzed in a diagnostic sense, possibly implying a situation where someone or something is examined thoroughly or extensively, without any metaphorical "cover" or concealment.

Again, it's important to note that without more information or context, this interpretation is speculative, and the intended meaning may vary depending on the specific context in which the phrase was used.

oh wait …. didn't they find verbal diarrhea in the room?  ????

Well who would have thought that a body falling 6 floors could do that?

Wow! What a lot of words to not give an explanation or meaning to a 2 word description!

I think it means to remove clothes for the medics to ascertain injuries, before moving the patient pretty normal procedure. I had mine cut off including work boots cut through.
