Prigozhin will be most likely

dead soon.

How Putin deals with his political opponents is well known. Now Putin is forced to put on a good face to the bad game. He needs the Wagner soldiers and is now recruiting them for his own army. Then, when Prigozhin's position is weakened, Putin's revenge will come.

To the above I will add this

The Coup Is Over, but Putin Is in Trouble (msn.com)

Prigozhin and his men came within 125 miles of the capital—that is, closer to Moscow than Philadelphia is to Washington, D.C. He then said that a deal had been struck and that Wagner’s forces were turning around to avoid bloodshed. Apparently, however, the blood Prigozhin saved from being shed was his own. If the “deal” announced by the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov accurately reflects an actual settlement, Prigozhin has in the space of a day gone from being a powerful warlord to a man living on borrowed time in a foreign country, waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s inevitable retribution.

According to Peskov, Russia is dropping all charges against Prigozhin, who must now go into exile in Belarus. Wagner fighters who did not take part in the rebellion will be given amnesty, and then they will sign contracts that will bring them under the control of Shoigu’s Ministry of Defense. I suggested yesterday that Shoigu’s attempt to seize Wagner’s men and dissolve the force might be one of the reasons Prigozhin went on the march. This outcome is a defeat of the first order for Prigozhin, who has now lost everything except his life.

We can at this point only speculate about why Prigozhin undertook this putsch, and why it all failed so quickly. One possibility is that Prigozhin had allies in Moscow who promised to support him, and somehow that support fell through: Perhaps his friends in the Kremlin got cold feet, or were less numerous than Prigozhin realized, or never existed at all. Prigozhin, after all, is not exactly a military genius or a diplomat; he’s a violent, arrogant, emotional man who may well have embarked on this scheme huffing from a vat of his own overconfidence.

Oh, grand old Prigozhin,

he had 25,000 men.

He marched them up to Moscow,

and he marched them back again.

And when they were there, they were there,

and when they were back they were back,

and when they were only half way there,

he did some sort of deal, or was given an ultimatum, or his family was threatened, so he cleared off to Belarus.

Poison being sent to Belarus.

Wonder if he'll search around for a few weakly guarded battlefield nuks? He sure could use them.

As I understand it, his contract was up at the end of the month and he had fallen out with the top Russian military commanders. He wanted them replaced and they had failed to renew his contract. He decide to force their hand while expecting some Russian units to support him. This did not occur and he realised that he was not going to get to Moscow alive so he negotiated some kind of way out. He's toast now. The interesting question is what happens to his international criminal empire.

Went more than half-way to Moscow then turned tail. Echoes of Bonnie Prince Charlie, got as far as Derby then ran back to Scotland. I don't suppose Prigozhin will last long enough to drink himself to death, as the Pretender did.

Actually, they are tactical nuclear warheads. Not ballistic missiles.

"Russia has already stationed a first batch of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Vladimir Putin says.

Russia's president told a forum they would only be used if Russia's territory or state was threatened.

The US government says there is no indication the Kremlin plans to use nuclear weapons to attack Ukraine."

Prigozhin is an international war criminal.  Very few places he can go, if not even allowed back in Russia.  Perhaps he can open a hot dog stand in Belarus.  Curious to know who's funding Wagner these days.

A BBC commentator was saying that similar failed rebellions in Russia have portended bad outcomes in the past, such as one before the collapse of the soviet union.

It's possible that we may soon see a black swan event which will propel the price of gold to new highs very quickly. It's just a thought.

Yeah, I tend to think the lady with the large BMI hasn't sung yet.

If you make enemies with Putin, one, be very careful of your underwear he may put some radioactive stuff in it to be careful on what you drink he may poison you or you may get pushed off a balcony in one instance and daytime a few blocks away from his office The one guy that was in opposition with him got shot in the head. Nobody knows who did it

After watching various news items, it now sounds like Putin has done some sort of 'deal' with Prigozhin including $$$$
