Shop mak Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 This was expected, but Cambodia??? Big Joke is (was) already there on another callcenter mission. Maybe he can solve both cases in 1 go.

He even had local pooyai's and police chiefs attending his bloody birthday parties while the arrest warrant was ignored. The Khunpluem's are one of the great untouchable Thai families. The small "independent" political parties they created in Chonburi were powerful and have been the lynchpin of several dodgy national administrations for decades including Thaksin's years at the helm. Itthipol's is brother Wittayu got a job in the Prayuth administration before being handed the Pattaya mayorship in 2018. Just remembered that Sontaya's Chonburi political party already threw their hand in with PT before the recent election so, with PT now seated in the big chair, K. Itthiphol doesn't have to worry about anything. Stargeezr Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 So this great guy supposedly fled Thailand to avoid arrest. I hope he is put on a red alert and gets sent back to Thailand to face justice in the future. 2
ChrisY1 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Should be easy to nab him! Yesterday it was reported that the Thai police were there on other business...(there probably often there on "business)..just give 'em a call!

Is it true that the present Mayor is a member of the same group if not one of the family. I thought they pay the most money for votes so keep on getting elected.

Jim1000 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 When I worked in the Middle East the saying was that in the Arab world you were either in power or you were dead ! It seems to me in Thailand you are in power , then you are on the lam ! 2

My wife still supported him, despite what he was. Because, she said, he did good things for the people. Kind of sums up the standards here, doesn't it. People are prepared to run with criminals. They just don't care.

Danderman123 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 In the US, the Statute of Limitations requires the police to issue an arrest warrant within a certain time period. Once that arrest warrant is issued to SOL becomes moot.
