Indeed, I have experienced these same symptoms on occasion.  It’s quite unnerving. I always thought it was the magic mushrooms now I can know it was the jacuzzi that caused it.   Where is my lawyer!

Without any injury or medical report of injuries 100 000 sounds more than fair to me.

A rather shocking misuse of the term electrocution. They experienced an electric shock. If they had been electrocuted, the surviving family members would be making a claim for their deaths. Correct?

Improperly grounded cables

Metal parts not being bonded to each other.

I doubt they will get any money, but likely, even americans <deleted>), understand they were almost killed. First westerner I knew personally, who died in LOS, was electrocuted at his new koi pond. Older Euro. Call it 'death by Non-Nany state', as he had just hired a person to put in lighting. Zap.

 

Likely most have forgotten about the Indian couple found dead in a pool in Koh Tao. So many die there, this flew under the radar. However, one news article mentioned the pool was having work done. Bingo. Like anything else on that island, we will never know for sure, but yes electrocuted, fits with all the evidence we have.
 

It is a problem here for sure. If you want to whinge about it, fine, pop a Leo, swill & have at it.

Where does it say they almost died, except their lawyer who can hardly be said to be impartial? They felt discomfort, numbness.

The hotel acted responsibly by taking them to hospital and offering to pay their medical expenses. Of course, they'd want receipts as any business would. And of course the hospital wanted them there overnight as there was money to be made.

The defamation laws in Thailand have actually worked against the hotel, as we don't know which hotel acted in such a responsible way. Many would simply deny there was a problem.

Is not the same, she is Thai. But how is 100,000 baht not enough already, they are fine, knowing they spend about 10k per 3 days on hotels, they are compensated for an entire month stay.

its probably a loose gasket on the lights. low wattage hence just feeling a buzz. i feel that low buzz all over the place. and not only from bong hits.
