Perhaps you can then explain why so many students leave school barely literate and store clerks can't subtract 3 from 10 in their heads?

Employers are becoming desperate for people with a work ethic and have a modicum of intelligence.

Unlike yourself, I actually employ people and I have no problem finding 'people with a work ethic and (who) have a modicum of intelligence' . Perhaps your vast experience which as far as I can tell only covers hospitals and 7-11's doesn't equip you to comment on such matters, because your anecdotal experiences don't cover the vast majority of business and industry and you only see what you want to see.

And by the way, literacy levels stand at 99% in the UK as is also does in Australia (https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/literacy-rate-by-country) So yet more of your nonsense, easily brushed aside with a very quick google search.

Totally agree! It has been highjacked by a hard core of approx. 12 idiots/Bots/paid for posters who may be increasing the "click count" but are ruining the site!

  • The fun has been lost.   We used to have fun posts about sightings of Michelin men and Mountain Dew and the like.   Now almost every post degrades into pages of off topic bickering

I don't live in Australia, so you apparently have no idea of what I'm talking about.

Your insult "Perhaps your vast experience which as far as I can tell only covers hospitals and 7-11's doesn't equip you to comment on such matters, because your anecdotal experiences don't cover the vast majority of business and industry and you only see what you want to see" is not only arrogant but wrong, as you have no idea as to my life experience and my knowledge of business.

Or would you prefer a completely text based forum?

On my part I would prefer a forum without emojis, but I don't mind them. In fact, I am happy that emojis are there for the people who like them and use them. There are probably a lot of things that I like and other people don't. What a boring world it would be if all people were the same, liked the same things, etc!

Emojis are like a new language, like Esperanto. I studied both in some detail when they emerged, found them interesting, but never got fluent in them and resigned myself to living and communicating without them. I do occasionally use the good old original smiley, though, and the way the two characters : and ) magically transform into a cute image 🙂

Err I beg to differ. You have on many occasions talked about your experience as a nurse and the 'incompetent' managers that bullied you throughout your career. But please let us all in on your extensive business experience that shows that you have employed Gen Z, Y, X or any letter of the alphabet for that matter?

Your lack of relevant experience and first hand knowledge of the subject in hand just comes across as a bitter old man, shaking a metaphorical fist at a world he doesn't understand and certainly doesn't like because of the 'onslaught of social media ( my pet hate ), PC and wokeness'. You even admit yourself 'I can't even remember the last time I had a really good laugh at anything', yet you feel equipped to come out with such sweeping generalisations as 'so many students leave school barely literate and store clerks can't subtract 3 from 10 in their heads'. Why you cannot see this as completely anecdotal and not at all representative of the facts is beyond me. And when countered with actual figures showing you very high literacy rates in western countries, you don't want to learn, preferring to wallow in your own VERY myopic view of the world and calling people who point out the very obvious flaw in your argument 'arrogant'.

It is not arrogance to correct you on these matters (with actual facts and figures) so instead of letting that chip on your shoulder completely weigh you down, perhaps you might want to actually listen to people who have more experience on a subject than you. With that option comes learning and knowledge; something it seems, you desperately need.

Yes, but moaning about western women would be encouraged and not deleted.

has long had that moaning covered but goes much farther. Whereas our posters can only suggest running to Thailand to pay prostitutes to end their current moans (as they continue to moan about the past), redditors suggest other solutions as well.

If I was from there I’d be looking to escape that image as well. The first things on the list to drop would be, the silly tough guy thing, I know better than anyone else, hey lookie me, among other silly dispositions.

I don't get that one?

Are you saying Aussie guys try to look "tough"?

Just saw a topic on the side menu headlined 'Gardening'. Mildly interested, always good to get some advice etc.. Was about to click it, then hovered on the OP's profile info - signed up ages ago, very low post count. Gave it a miss. Could be a legit topic, could be yet on of them 'what do you think about', 'did you...'. and so on topics plaguing the forum. Guess I'll never know. Seen from a perspective of two years away - it wasn't like this. Guess I'm not the only one avoiding such topics, so ultimately even if a newcomer was asking a legit question, he'd probably get less responses due to this, which in turn lowers motivation to ask other stuff.

Oh for FS stop acting like kids both of you!!  There is nothing that I hate more than when 2 posters start their own 'handbags at dawn' bickering in the middle of an unrelated thread.  Why don't you both start a new thread ('why I don't agree with you') and leave this thread for relevant conversation?

Following Red Pill Theory (they actually call it "theory"):

Going to Thailand to get a super-broke girlfriend because you couldn't even get a fattie back home makes you the ultimate beta bux cuck-simp.

You didn't defeat feminism, feminism ran you off like a soi dog.

This painstakingly careful mental disconnect is hilarious to behold.

Or they could also use the PM system for their endless 'discussion'.

Ignore list is a welcome tool on the forum, as I prefer not to keep them in view, as offer nothing I want to read.  Especially the folks that are:

... anti EV

... anti solar

... anti Yanks

... anti Thai (people or country)

... bigots, label user

... we're so oppressed cry babies, almost as bad as bigots

... trolls, as surely some really can't be that ignorant with their repetitive BS, and false statements, especially after being corrected numerous times

Amazing forum for info on how much a square kilo of topsoil costs in Sisaket, for example. -And 5 pages of ensuing arguments.

Bans and overzealous censorship aren't exactly conducive to keeping long term members and 'characters'.

So it's better to have zero sex at home than sex with an attractive girl that's not a land whale? I don't see why that's better than paying for it, and we all pay for it somewhere along the line.

My first partner was quite attractive and took me for everything she could get. Was that better than paying for one that did have sex with me and didn't take me for everything she could?

I think you have to come up with a better put down than that.

Red pill theory is nothing to do with prostitution.

It's all about stopping women from exploiting and controlling you.

The better option would be the third option, being with a Woman who actually liked you and didn't need you there just to fund her life .

It would be better to find  woman that liked you , but I suppose that you are too old for that now

Once you have succeeded in banning large numbers of them it is tantamount to killing the goose that lays the golden egg.

You can trace back the timeline  when the board went into coma.

There was this one guy, posting as Thai female, who single handedly destroyed this board. Of course with the help of  moderators who happily suspended or banned anyone who called "her" out. They never came back and this board never recovered.

Without interesting posters boards die, there simply is no reason to visit. It is difficult to build an interesting, large web board, but it is very easy to ruin it.

I’m very happy to read that Yinn was fake.  I was one of the posters who believed she was a fake and wrote about it.  I believe I received some strong warnings to stop harassing her.  The way she was allowed to harass and insult Transam was pretty shocking.  It seemed to some of us at the time that she must have been employed by TV in order to get away with all that she did.

Whatever the circumstances were it is sad that Nancy lost POTY to that situation.

Ahhh poor Transam, getting bullied online by a 22 year old Thai girl who wasn't even 5 foot tall

I do hope that he fully recovered from his ordeal of Yinn being horrible to him

  • Popular Post

Well Nick, Proton says he met her?  Who is Proton, that is a new name.  No credibility.

You have a new name too, I realize that is a necessity here sometimes but then it makes judging your credibility and history difficult doesn’t it?

Transam wasn’t bullied by a small Thai girl.  Even the fact that she was so aggressive and insulting sort of shows on its face that she most likely was not a young, Thai person much less a woman.  That she was so opinionated and forceful about those opinions shows that also.

I feel like a few of you might just be saying this as a way to keep screwing with Transam.
