The OP should step 1. File a police report.
Here is copy paste from @Tod Daniels
"𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.
Nope show up with the police report and the new passport when you stamp out, they'll look up your previous entry stamp, fine you 500 baht a day overstay fine and stamp you out of the country.
𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘁𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.
In and of itself a couple week overstay shouldn't affect you getting back in but keep in mind the fact you lost the passport cuts no ice with them as far as whether you'll have issues entering or not. That is totally going to depend on your previous entry/stay history to thailand"
Yours reads more like an 'boomer anti-backpacker' rant than anything else... You were unable to travel in a gap year shoe horn reasons to look down on those who can...
You mention adventurousness with sarcasm, yet have travelled to exactly the same place as those you criticise and you know the price of a McDonalds there !!!...
... And then left because you stuck out like a sore thumb - no one wanted to talk with the miserable old boomer ???
... All you have alluded to in your post is that you can't research your destinations and don't like being around younger people... this is an issue with you, not them.
