Of course above would mean a more explicit world war with an axis of Russia, China, Iran being against the west with an isolationist USA greatly weakening the west.

Would Thailand try to stay neutral as they historically generally prefer or side with the axis?

Why would they side with the west with a then isolated USA and Russia and China so much closer?

So how would Thailand then treat "enemy" foreigners living in their land?

Go easy on the vivid fantasies. Do you get stoned then make this crap up or how does it work?

Obviously, people laugh even more about Americans.  Voting for him once was a mistake. But who would vote for such a guy another time? Only Americans would do that.

  • They laugh more about Biden.

Honestly as an expat in Thailand, probably not all that much right away. BUT ...

As far as the USA and the world, a whole lot of chaos and the continued global rise of dictatorships and the decline of democracies.

There will be risks whoever is president of course.

Trump will leave Nato and throw Ukraine under the bus and contrary to what maga types say, that will embolden war criminal dictator Putin and he'll be much more likely to go for other countries in the region -- the Baltics, Poland, Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, etc. But he might pause even for some years  in order to rebuild his military which has been significantly damaged.

Also to consider CIVIL WAR is now a risk in the USA. How?

Trump is likely to lose the election like last time but like last time he will never admit that he lost and he will claim that he won.

It's easy to imagine several possible scenarios that could lead to civil war from that.

Obviously expats abroad from a county at civil war are going to be facing negative consequences.

Do you really believe such B.S.?

If I was a registered Democrat, ie., for an absentee ballot from overseas, I would re-register as an Independent.

Trump promises his next term as POTUS will be one of political retaliation. I can envision him canceling any US- based benefits to American expats registered as Democrats.

Interesting point, and something like that is entirely possible. This is a man who is guided by hatred, has an extremely dark heart, and has nothing in the way of a moral compass, so unless the people around him are able to stop him, unless Congress or the Senate are bold enough to stop him, there's no way to know how far he would go.

There's no question that he's an extremist imbecile who would attempt insane policy, if given a second term. Anyone but Trump!

What extreme policies? Inflation was under 2% last time. No wars, no border chaos.

The extreme stuff happened under Biden. High inflation, chaos at borders, wars. Why can't Joe phone Putin? They haven't spoken in years. Joe is a deadloss no hoper.

What's not to believe?

Trump hasn't even conceded the last election.

He's running to dodge prison.

He has nothing to lose if he loses.

So Joe got old to dodge prison. Makes sense.

It's an extremely depressing thought there are that many imbeciles in the world, let alone in a single nation.

Trump causing WW3 and a US civil war is very unlikely to happen. But your entitled to your own opinion.

You are probably correct on the first opinion, Trump will probably just give Putin, Xi and Kim what they want.

IMO America is in a civil war already, although there is nothing civil about it.

In 2016 they said (probably him as well) the same lies. Fear mongering is the last form of defence in politics. Biden is lost in space so all they got is fear mongering.

IMO it is entirely logical to fear a person who is on record saying he wants to be a dictator for a day, so he can take revenge on anyone who has opposed him.

I don't think there is any doubt, from his posts and actions, that Trump is vindictive.

Trump second term would be much different and much worse than first term.

Much better. Stop 2 wars. Fix the border. No more senile Biden. We can only hope the Americans are smart enough to give Biden the flick. Might be asking too much.

I'd really like to know why they think electing Trump will end democracy.  Because here's the best explanation I've seen from them:

Dead serious.

Donald Trump is a dictator in waiting. Like other dictators, he is threatening to put his "enemies" in prison – and to do even worse things to them. These are not idle threats or empty acts of ideation: Donald Trump is a violent man who is a proven enemy of democracy and freedom.

Like what Biden is doing? Biden is a fascist who wants to jail people. Your posts are just nonsense.

Your retirement funds will make 7 to 12 % instead off the 4 to 5 % under Biden

Which people is Biden trying to jail? AFAIK the criminal justice system is separated from the executive branch of government.

As usual, your posts are long on opinion, short on facts.

Totally unhinged. Typical trumper.

Biden started what war? He has gone after those who attacked the US. putin invaded Ukraine, Hamas attacked Israel.

Your messiah wanted to kill somebody, so he ordered the strike on Gen Qasem Soleimani.

I know you're not well-versed in economics, but here's a question....what do you think would be the result of giving $25,000 to every man, woman and child in the US? trump did that, at least by adding $8,400,000,000,000 in new National Debt in his 4 miserable years.

Biden & the Fed have that down, more Americans are working than ever, the economic growth dwarfs even the coattails trump inherited from Obama, and the dollar is strong. Part of the reason folks are trying to cross the border is because of Biden's roaring economy. Under trump, with his massive failure in Covid, even those fleeing persecution didn't want to come.

trump, along with his supporters, are losers. They should ask themselves this question: Would anybody on the face of the Earth be envious of them and what they have accomplished in life?

LOL

Happy as the war atrocities Israel is committing would be halted.

The war in Ukraine... finished

Fences mended in MENA as well as South America.

Hopefully upheaval in both houses.

I’m certainly not OK with Putin’s horrendous war. What would you do - have Ukraine surrender? War is appalling, but sometimes necessary if we’re not all going to live under tyrannical regimes.

No, I'd rather that they'd negotiated and not had a war at all.

Now it looks like Ukraine will end up at the negotiating table anyway and so many deaths and destruction in between.

Much of the world seems to live under tyrannical regimes, so why is Eastern Ukraine different? It's not like Ukrainian leaders have been beacons of love and light, is it? Democracy? Don't make me laugh.

Somewhat broad brush there. Everyone of the millions of Americans that voted for Trump are losers? Somewhat arrogant there.

Would anybody on the face of the Earth be envious of them and what they have accomplished in life?

I could list Trump's achievements but you would refuse to acknowledge them, so I won't.

All the people trying to get into the US illegally while Trump was POTUS can't have had a problem with the US under him.

Seems to me that any posters that denigrate Trump and his supporters ignore that supporting an old man with obvious mental problems is just as barking.

I saw Biden on tv this morning "savaging Trump". It was like being savaged by a damp poodle. When he walked out he just looked so very, very old. However, he almost managed to make the entire speech without messing up till near the end, but his handlers must have told him when that happened to leave without taking questions, which he did.

If I had suffered 7 years of <deleted> from the Dems, I would definitely want revenge on them. I hope he gets his opportunity.
