Patong – An Iranian and Indian man were arrested in Patong for drunk driving on Thursday (March 28th).

The Patong Traffic Police told the Phuket Express that in the morning, 4:00 A.M., they set up a checkpoint near the Dolphin Circle in Patong.

I don't drink and drive, it is so simple to get a MB taxi, although by the time I'm going home most of them are p##ed and well drunker than me, it will never change..........never

Big fine and deport them, 10 year blacklist.

I agree with you. You give all drink drivers (including thais) an automatic 1 week jail sentence - plus the normal stuff.

 

I imagine a week in prison on your hols would teach you a very very valuable lesson !

They really need to up the penalties for DUI ,there is no need to do it,

and it causes so many injuries and deaths , they really need to take

it more seriously ,

that's not halal, mohammed would not be happy to know you drank alcohol, what's sharia law say about your punishment? or do you not get punished because you're not a woman?
