What are the penalties if late for first 90 day report?

What happens if you fail to do a 90 day report for the whole year, is it a max of 2000 baht or 2000 baht for each 90 days missed, ie 8000 baht?

In my example my last report was 10 months ago. I will show that receipt and my pp can show due to travel no reporting was due in last 10 months.

While it may seem like "good value" baht wise, in my case, there was a half-page red stamp saying I violated the terms of the 90-day address report.

 

That stamp could not be cleared (obviously) until I got a new passport. 

 

If they are still doing this, there must be a reason why Immo is flagging ex-pats who violate the 90-day report requirement and pay the fine.

What more reason do they need?

 

The red stamp thing is a concern and may look weird getting into other countries as well. Many countries have discretion at the border on how long you stay and it could look like a problem.

i missed one in Dec<  as i got a new passport in Nov and forgot, so waited till March when i transferred stamps to new passport, got new 1 year extension and paid 1,000 baht fine for missed 90 days >
all with an agent in Phuket

Phuket has always been 1,000 baht no receipt, 2,000 baht  receipt. 

NO RED stamp  🙂

Well, the immigration office certainly won't give a red stamp in your passport for corruption money they received, because that's what your agent paid, not a fine.

 

Anyway, that was an elegant solution for you.

Ok guys. My question is about the 90 day report..but different from the OPs

My 90 day is due 16th of this month. Oct.

It has to be done in person because it's the first after a trip out and back.

Now, I plan on flying out on the 30th or 31st. 15 days late.

Will I be stopped and fined at the airport???

 

If so, I will have to make the long trip to CW.. I hate that place.

I'm resurrecting this post. Chiang Mai immigration IOs are idiots. 3x my tm47s.. Done online have been rejected... and in all cases the person rejecting has made a mistake. I'm fed up of traveling to immigration to file my tm47s... and pointing out their mistakes. 

 

I'm thinking of just not filing any more tm47s. My tm30 is current... 

 

When I renew extend my Non O.. Just simply pay a 2000 baht fine for missing three tm47 a?

You are not alone.

Especially now that they seem to be requiring TM47 in person after travel abroad. 

Seems we are back full circle to situation pre June 2020. 

Have you considered reporting via mail.

How would the result be any different to online? Immigration tells me to go to the office... Because I was out of thailand... But last time I returned to Thailand was June 2024 and I'm at the same address! They keep making mistakes forcing me to go to the office.

The rejection from online reporting has the standard statement of "report in person..." 

I believe if someone makes the report via mail there won't be a rejection. 

 

EDIT: One time I did the online 15 days prior to due date and also did a TM47 via mail.

Sure enough that time the online was approved.

Some time later I received the return mail with hand written "report already approved" 

This was prior to immigration trying to sync TM30 with online reporting.

Disaster springs to mind.
