Officers from the Pattaya City Municipality subdued an agitated foreign man who caused quite a stir at a local business on Monday, May 20th.

Around noon, Pattaya City’s 1337 hotline received a call from concerned residents reporting a foreign man behaving erratically in front of a local insurance office on Chaiyapruek 1 Road.

Pattaya City officials, including municipal officers, peacekeepers, and the Pattaya Mobile Rescue Team, arrived at the scene to investigate.

Upon their arrival, they encountered a tall, unidentified foreign man exhibiting signs of agitation and confusion. The man who may have been of German nationality was seen wandering aimlessly around the area shouting and talking to himself, wearing no shirt and causing alarm among local businesses and residents.

Actually I was thinking this was the preoccupation of many locals too!

Does anyone remember that heavily bearded guy in green fatigues that used to hang around various spots on Sukhumvit in Pattaya? He never bothered anyone. I haven't seen him for years.

Another crazed foreigner with the lack of decency. Shouting shirtless around the city. No class, no manors and truly no brain. Go home!

Exactly, always put your shirt on when shouting around the city.🙂

The manors and the class was about the shirt, The no brain was about the anger and shouting. So, now you can understand too. 🙂

Yes but German people can't understand them - they need subtitles on Swiss programmes shown on German TV

However, upon searching his backpack, they discovered a packet of cannabis, which is currently legal in Thailand but under major debate. It was unclear, however, if this had contributed to his behaviour.

Also the pictures are worth

Found a shirt, hugging a policeman and driving off on a bike.

Peacefully settled. Maybe the cannabis has kicked in:cheesy:

Not really, it's just kids dabbling/trying the cocktail of drugs easily available now (well always were) in Thailand, or drinking hard  and their meds stop working.

The one who was on the Lotus parking lot most of the time? He vanished a few years ago, never knew what happened to him.

Yeah, I believe he's the one. I tried to talk to him casually once, he made it clear to back off.

Good that you tried, my wife wanted to talk to him too, I thought it was better not to as you never know who you're dealing with. I recall sending an email to a local charity/organisation (can't remember which one) about him, I thought it might help, perhaps he had family back home who could help or something. Never got a reply.

And you did not understand anyway. Read Soalbundy´s post above, and then you will also be in the game.
