The shocking discovery of a young, naked foreign man's body on Pattaya Beach has left both tourists and locals in a state of concern. Found at midday today opposite Soi 3, Beach Road, the unidentified man's death is currently under investigation.

According to initial police reports, authorities were alerted to the scene where they found the body lying face down, with only a pair of black shoes on. A pair of black shorts had washed ashore nearby. The young man, who had a flower tattoo on his left arm and a bird tattoo on his right arm, showed no immediate signs of physical abuse, suggesting that foul play might not be a factor.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Anand Mahakit-aswakul, deputy inspector at Pattaya City police station, quickly reached the scene along with rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon. They cordoned off the area to prevent onlookers from getting too close while they conducted a preliminary investigation.

Khacharin Chuchum, a Pattaya special affairs officer, was the first to be notified of the body by a local umbrella and day-bed rental operator. "I rushed to help, but it was clear that he had already passed away. I kept people away and called the police immediately," Chuchum stated.

The body has been transported to Bang Lamung Hospital, and will subsequently be sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Police Hospital for a detailed autopsy to determine the cause of death. Early estimates suggest the man may have been dead for approximately five hours before he was found.

Authorities face the challenging task of identifying the deceased and piecing together his last hours. Until then, the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident remain shrouded in mystery. With the summer tourist season in full swing, police are keen to resolve the case promptly to reassure both locals and international visitors.

What do they promptly want to reassure the visitors  ?    that you can't die on our beach naked   ?

Maybe that there was no foul play involved if that is the case.

The tattoos will help to identify the deceased as friends or family realise he's missing.

Photographs are necessary then.

Forensics are so advanced here, they can tell if there was foul play from the victim's tattoos.

That this isn't an indication that there is any danger to them.

You think they'll just go on the fact that they have some kind of flower tattooed on their arm?  Or, perhaps, they might use photos to confirm?

Not many people will have the same bird and flower tattoos, in the same place, on the same arm.

Took his shorts off and left his shoes on ? Sounds more like he was going for a Ki and whilst drunk in the sea and had an incident

Currents or just normal water movements can easily remove a pair of shorts.
