As he frantically packs his bag for immediate departure back to his bolt-hole in the dessert.

Yeah, he definitely has a contingency plan and a bug-out bag, Louis Vuitton, but it's still a go bag.

All eyes will be on the Criminal Court as it decides the future of one of Thailand’s most controversial political figures.

He will be granted bail of course... but will they revoke his passport?

He is in the hospital already... a safe place as he was there before.. Probably again high bloodpressure because of stress and now Covid positive... while Setthra can recover from it with a few days rest... Now it s time if Thaksin is found guilty to treat him as all other section 112 offenders... Jail him with no bail and no hospitalization... They can handle the situation in  the sickbay of the jail too.. Other offenders are being treated likewise.

Hopefully.

Permanently this time. He brings nothing but trouble.

Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra could be jailed immediately if the Criminal Court denies his bail request tomorrow (June 18), said Corrections Department Director-General Sahakarn Petchnarin today.

Is it April 1st already?

Why write a news article about an event that everyone in Thailand knows will never even be considered?

Was he ever convicted for fleeing Thailand to avoid criminal prosecution?

What's the punishment for that?

Or is it just fine to run away for many years, spending ill-gotten wealth?

Lock him up!

Red Bull another example ?

Sure but don't forget he has several passports.

And his private jet could easily be moved to one of the jet airports just over the border.

He could easily get across the border and 10 minutes later be in his private jet ready to roll.

If only he would be gone for ever. As long as he is around life for foreigners, especially wsterners, will be increasingly difficult.

He is best buddies with the man that pardoned him, even IF sentenced he could be easily pardoned again. It a no brainer IMO.

Just like another family did a few years back with full assistance of the guys that should have locked her up.
