Melania Trump has publicly called for answers regarding the July assassination attempt on her husband, former President Donald Trump. In a video posted on her X account, the former first lady expressed her deep concern, stating, “We need to uncover the truth” behind the attack. The incident, which occurred nearly two months ago at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, left the former president injured and resulted in the deaths of the assassin and a rally attendee.

In the video, which also serves as a promotion for her upcoming memoir, "Melania," she described the assassination attempt as a "horrible, distressing experience." She further emphasized the weight of the silence surrounding the event, saying, "Now, the silence around it feels heavy." Her words reflected a growing unease about the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

 

“I can’t help but wonder: Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” Melania questioned, highlighting a concern that has lingered since the day of the attack. The former president was struck in the ear by a bullet during his speech, an event that shocked the nation and led to immediate calls for a thorough investigation.

 

In response to the shooting, a bipartisan House task force was established to investigate potential security lapses that may have contributed to the assassination attempt. Despite the formation of this task force, Melania Trump’s recent comments suggest that she believes more information has yet to come to light.

 

Melania first spoke out about the attack a day after it occurred, sharing her immediate reaction to the violent event. “When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change,” she said in a statement at the time. When you have both a presidential candidate and a VP candidate who both embrace lies and falsehoods, with nearly anything they say, that is a clear and present danger.

I agree with Melanie for the most part, that it’s important to find out the truth about this assassination attempt on her husband. But it’s at least a little ironic that it’s her begging for the truth to be uncovered, seeing as how Trump and truth haven’t exactly been the best of friends over the years, to put it very mildly.

And weirdest of all, zero evidence of even the slightest damage to the ear. No discoloration, no scar, nothing. It's as if it was entirely performance art. I'm with Mercedes, let's get to the bottom of this, was pretty fishy indeed.
