What's the point of sitting on this forum, in Thailand, warning members about the dangers of Trump? It would be best if you had been in America warning his 70+ million fans and warning the Democrats that they needed more than a:  "I hate Trump - vote for me" campaign strategy. You've had a senile president at the reigns for 4 years making a total mess of everything and you think Trump will cause damage to America?

It looks like a clean sweep, the Presidency, the Senate and the House.  With this huge advantage, Trump should have the power to reshape the US and the world.  The real challenge will be Trump's own obsessions and erratic behavior.  Does he have the self-discipline to govern effectively or will he throw away the electoral advantage that he has gained?

 

There is an old curse that goes: "may you live in interesting times".  I suspect that the next four years will be very interesting times.

I think 4 votes. Alaska has 3 and Trump is ahead by 15% Another is a Maine congressional district, and he is ahead by 8%. That makes it official. Plus Michigan, Nevada..... a comprehensive win.

Before CNN started crying and shuddering, they had some good analysis during the evening. John King showed that Trump outperformed his 2020 result by 3% or more in ONE THOUSAND counties in the US (out of about 4000). Harris outperformed Biden 2020 in just 50. That explains a lot.
