Old sleepy Joe's legacy was already that of a senile old man bent on serving another term until removed so at this point, Biden has nothing to lose by deliberately lying and pardoning his corrupt drug addict son Hunter. Move over Nixon, a new even more corrupt President is now at the top of the list of the most detested Presidents in history.

So, if you were in the big chair, you wouldn't pardon your son as the law said you could............?  🤔

I'll put things this way re the damage to the Democrat party.

If the USA had a new election today the Democrats would be in Mondale 1984 territory.

The damage done to the party this year is not temporary. And Biden hasn't finished yet.

And the "what about MAGA" brigade need to wake up. It is beyond belief that Biden has amplified Trumps message about political persecution and targeting.

Biden has now made it more difficult for GOP Senators to hold up people like Kash Patel. Cos after all, Biden says the DOJ and FBI are corrupt so they need cleaned up, right?

And watch how the Blue Dog coalition moves in the House, as well as Senators such as Sanders and Fetterman. Do not be shocked if certain parts of the Democrat party swing behind Trump's nominees as they have also had enough of this BS.

I am from outside looking in, laughing at Trump getting the big seat after all I have seen and heard from him. Comedy Gold.

That's a wrong comparison and you know it. This is polarizing since the inquisition was and is performed by the left.

No comparison whatsoever, unless you're doing the MAGA stuff....hut, but it's all a conspiracy when trump people are convicted

How do you know what if any type of addiction that I have or not experienced in my life?  I know i can never be around certain people or certain place ever again. For me "one more time for old times sake could be the last time, forever". I mentioned AA, Alanon and GA for context. This does not mean I fully buy into any those type of programs. It is true I have encountered some who can "casually" use cocaine and "live a normal" life.  But I have encountered the tragic side as well.

Lastly fentanyl is not cause of concern in the US now?  Even legal meds can lead to addiction. Just think of strong pain killers that doctors prescribe just about eveyday.

You keep telling yourself that - and you'll be absolutely right.

The idea that addiction is a lifelong condition can really hold people back.

It locks them into this permanent "addict" identity, which isn't exactly inspiring when you're trying to move forward.

It can make them feel like they're stuck in this battle forever, reliant on programs like AA, and if they relapse, it’s seen as this huge failure rather than just part of the process. Plus, it ignores the fact that not everyone’s journey is the same—some people do move past addiction without needing lifelong abstinence or constant support. It’s like a one-size-fits-all label that doesn’t really fit anyone properly.

This comes across in your writings. I am not saying you can go back to casual use of your poison. I am saying that the state of "post addiction" exists. You can get there. It's nothing to do with going back and casually using - it's about being past addiction, past rehab, past thinking about your poison all the time.

It's growing out of it.

This is a good point. I think 99% of people would pardon their son.

For stuff they did, stuff they've been convicted of or investigated. Stuff that is known.

But this blanket pardon for 10 years - that seems designed to raise hackles.

Is Joe not done taking the party down?

Next week it will all be forgotten, look at what Trump has got away with in his canvassing, soon forgotten..............🤗

Keep trolling then.

While I think Biden pardoning his son is rather grubby, just image what Trump will do to all the charges leveled against himself. His name will be squeaky clean once he's President again.

If it were trolling it would be classed as doing  quite a good job of it, however, its not, its low information and even lower IQ

hunter made a lot of money for daddy and the rest of the family ... for being on the board of so many companies, like in..... UKRAINE... look it up...

I had thought that using an emoji on every comment would be considered as such. It's meant to elicit a certain kind of reaction. To antagonise even. Which is associated with said behaviour. But who am I to know.

If there was any question to old Biden's legacy of that being a demented corrupt President, that question has been put to rest by Joe granting his prodigal son a pardon.

Biden Pardon.webp

Let me know when he nominates his son for a cabinet position, as Twitler is doing with people he pardoned.

You are actually a sort of nice guy in many of your posts. However in the political threads you turn into straight numpty mode. Heavy volumes of nothing more than puerile, hateful numpty headed one liners.Look how many posts in one thread that say nothing you make it almost unreadable. Every other post seems to be you.

Trump and his posse forced Biden to grant the pardon.

There is no denying that Trump and friends were going to pursue Hunter even if he was in prison, and they would keep putting out unfounded conspiracy claims.

And no I don't  agree with this pardon, but I can understand why it was done.

Unfounded?.... so the 50k a month from burisma, 10% for the big guy and the laptop from hell..all just fiction I suppose

Yeah, but you ain't the POTUS (for which we are eternally grateful).

So, if you had a son who was facing prison time, you wouldn't do everything you could to help. Even one as stupid as Hunter which I will add kind of reflects on joe for his dismal parenting skills.
