Police in Pattaya are investigating an incident in which a 60-year-old Russian tourist fell victim to theft after being charmed by two transgender individuals in front of a hotel in the Wongamat area of Naklua.

The victim, identified as Mr. Andrei Zhuravlev, was reportedly sitting outside the hotel when the incident occurred. According to a statement provided through an interpreter, Mr. Zhuravlev was approached by two individuals on a motorcycle. One of them dismounted and struck up a conversation with him, employing flirtatious gestures such as hugs and kisses.

Distracted by their behaviour, Mr. Zhuravlev failed to notice when his gold necklace, brought from Russia, was removed. Shortly afterward, the pair made their escape on the waiting motorcycle, speeding away from the scene.

Realising his necklace was missing, Mr. Zhuravlev immediately informed the hotel reception staff, who then contacted Pattaya police.

Police investigators have since reviewed CCTV footage from the area to trace the suspects’ movements and identify their escape route. Authorities are now working to track down the culprits and bring them to justice.

You know it's coming....

this game is starting to sound like a broken record ...  it will never stop,  because the cops don't want it to stop.

They are busy parading on Jomtien beach I hear.

I’m sure they’ll be shocked to find out that it’s gold plated when they try to pawn it off. Another reason Thailand is attracting less visitors. Word of mouth about how unsafe it can be.

What makes you say that.... the numbers are pretty close to 2019?  Chinese visitors are lacking but due to economic reasons there. No shortage of tourists in town from my perspective.

Hugging and a kissing with Katoyes leads to kissing goodbye to your jewelry...there that's a better headline 🤣

Nothing good ever come out of interaction with total strangers especially so called ladies.

strange they never can catch those or it is a catch and release program... katoey must have good connection with a gold shop or two... you never buy anything and always bring new stuff...

Why would anyone where jewellery in red light areas, these tranny's love it.

Ladyboys outraged claiming they were cheated as necklace was only 14k.

The ratio of robberies, fights,,scamS and general drunken incidents between pattaya & the rest of Thailand is 80-20

One card as back up and just enough cash for the night.....both in a Yorkshireman's pocket

No watch, no neck-chain, no bracelet, no wallet, no rings.......... no robbery.
