There is no doubt about it.

Thaksin is allowed to control the country illegally by proxy.

Unfortunatly with his influenze and personal contempt for the justice system her freedom will be a formality.

He believes in the Justice System, he just doesn't believe it applies to him.

I didn't know Thaksin had influenza. Hope he gets better soon.

This update comes from Thailand's Department of Corrections, with Director-General Sahakarn Phetnarin explaining that the imminent regulation could permit out-of-prison detention for convicts whose sentences are shortened to four years or less.

Working a deal...

Well, they are saying it doesn't apply to sex offenders, large amounts of drugs in drug convictions and violent crime.

Quite handy that, as rice pledging deals don't fall into any of those categories.

Well, who would have thought that?

And old people picking mushrooms  !!!!

Why didn't the coup makers get a day in court, simply because it got a nod from the top - nothing more to say on that subject is there.

Yes, there is...you could back up your assertion if you expect it to be more than just your opinion.

I'm sorry but why should she have been charged for Thai policy that in principle worked. Thai corruption is not her fault but if so then every top job in Thailand would become a post to prison as the whole system is currupt.  Thais just can't help it. The biggest crimes are taking a country at the end of a gun.

Do your own research - it's well documented.

I think there is 99.999 percent chance that she will be in Thailand by 2025 Songkran the latest, and 99.999 percent chance she won't spend a day in jail.

Laying the foundations for her inevitable return now that the gangsters are fully back in control.

Meetings with the convicted drug trafficker on luxury yachts last week, I wonder if this was discussed?
