I watched Havoc last night and although I am a Tom Hardy fan, this wasn't one of his better efforts IMHO.

I think when he say's "A complete season pack", he means being able to download it whole.

Not episode by episode.

Yes, that's what I meant.

That'll be because it was in Gaelic, maybe?

Yes, that's why I needed subtitles as stated.

Watching a Brit mini series from 2011 called "The Shadow Line", very good. Available PB.

What a coincidence! I am too. Recommended by a mate of mine and I'm enjoying it so far. I got it from TheRARBG.

I am sure everyone of my age will remember Hotlips the blond nurse from M*A*S*H

The actress died on Friday, May 30 at her New York City home, her publicist Harlan Boll confirmed.

Prior to her death, Loretta graced the cover of Elysian Magazine for the Spring 2025 issue.

The actress attended the cover launch party on February 6, 2025 - three months before her passing.

The cover features the star beaming in a close up snap for the cover image, rocking glam makeup.

So did the BBC.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, The World of Suzie Wong is on YouTube for free.

A "small" movie with big time quality.

Set in a lovely area of Arkansas (Hot Springs).

This is getting some good reviews.
Out this week.

An over-the-hill ex-golfer, fired from his job, sees hope in coaching a troubled teen prodigy after his wife leaves him, staking his future on the youth's success.

Out this week.

Death Valley with Timothy Small was suggested earlier.

Got ten minutes into it and that was it......off.

The One That Got Away on BBC iPlayer is very good.

Three episodes in and I think I'll stick with it. Timothy Spall is great as always but the lead female character is very irritating at times.

Yes, Spall was a great Pierrepoint. And I agree that it is the female lead who put me off.

I shall give it another go, on your recommendation. 555

DCI Carl Morck - a brash, but brilliant detective leading a cold case unit in Edinburgh.

Watched the first 4 episodes last night and thought it was very good. Many thanks @Will27.

Don't think it's going to happen.

Just crap posted on the internet.

If it was true, it would've been everywhere in the media.

I don't Know if 'Sirens' has been mentioned.  Not the puerile Fire brigade nonsense, but a grown-up series with characterisation & slick dialogue.  Stars Kevin Bacon and Julianne Moore + Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock.

Thanks Will27-- I watched the whole series--- thought it was good after a slow start---I can see the comparison with slow Horses --- guy gets to set up an office in the toilet basement--with a couple of police rejects ---and a box of cold case files   .

Yeah, I gave up after the bad guys sprayed bullets after the good guys in a cabin using machine guns tearing up the walls of the building into tiny pieces, and nobody got hit.  Classic A-Team.  About 2/3 of the way though.  I turned it off.

Mobland is way better.

Fake!

I quite like Friends & Neighbours on AppleTV, the missus is also watching it, which is surprising.

Does anyone else find the Stereophonics theme tune for Long Way Home, really annoying? She's signing along with it all day too. It's drilling my brain.

Hopefully they will call it a day after this. The wife asked me what Charlie Boreman did, was he an actor? He hasn't acted for 20 years, I didnt know what the answer was.

I gave it away halfway through episode 1, too much of the same thing, and the rapport between Charlie and Ewan seemed a bit forced.

Yes, not only is The One That Got Away boring, as you say, but it is also absurd.  The actors do their best with a lousy script, but the dialogue is wooden and, in short, outrageously unbelievable.  Feels very low budget...

I thought The One That Got Away was good, Death Valley was boring.
