Take a trip to DC sometime and look around, especially when people are working.  Weekends can be sort of quiet, by comparison.  Anyway, take a look in all the parking garages near K Street, where a lot of the lobbying firms are located.  See all the expensive cars.  Go out to a restaurant in the area any time of the day or night and listen to the conversations.  The entire metropolitan area seems to be about extracting money from taxpayers.  That's its function.

She wasn't given the opportunity to run a normal campaign along the usual timeline and it showed.

 

Not trump, he doesnt care what he says or who he says it to. He's all word salad saying what the vocal few and his business donor base wants to hear because its in their best interest . He very seldom completes anything and selects inappropriate cabinet members and appointees with little to no experience and then fires them when they say no to him or challenge him. Musk wont make it  months unless there's enough business interest in it for him.

 

The bigger issue is the damage trump will do to political alliances with the nations that support us and drive a wedge between us and them. While he may have some validity to the fact the US overpays our share  to WHO, Nato and several other world organizations the answer isnt cut and run but realign.

 

China is sitting back and watching the reactions and has tremendous traction with all the countries trump pisses on. Russia is sucking China tit to keep their agenda going and it will be worse if trump tries to negotiate any piece deal, which really isnt up to us in the first place. Its not our country being attacked. should we support them in their fight absolutely, should we encourage EU and Nato countries to support Ukrane, absolutely. Russia has been clear since they stole back Crimea what their intent is if no one stops them.

 

Sure work out immigration agreement to stop travel thru mexico and other central American countries to the US and return illegals but its not a simple fix. Its been tied and test numerous times in the last 60 years and NO ONE has ever stopped it or fixed it despite the propaganda you read from far right media talking heads.

I don't have anything backwards.  I understand what's going on and what the real issue is, for me.   The imposition of authoritarianism and the cancellation of free speech.  That's the current dream of what has now become the "Democrat Party."  And stoping it is the only issue that matters.  Lose free speech and you lose everything.  Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not this year or next, but it will happen.  Once you give the "Democrats" the power to shut you up when your ideas conflict with their agenda, it will be only a matter of time.  Authoritarianism run amok.

 

So, in a two party system, how do you save America?  There's only one way.  You vote against Harris.  And before that, against Hillary.  And you never again vote for any "Democrat" for any political office unless and until they start being real Democrats again and stop with all the nonsense.  

 

In case you haven't noticed, a handful of real Democrats helped elect Trump.  RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk.  They all left the Democrat Party once they realized what was at stake.  Even Trump himself was once a Democrat.
