Appears to be a Welsh Choirboy. Starmer will vouch for him and mount his defence as he's obviously been racially abused by the hospital staff.

  • Yeah, he should have stayed in Sudan, and this would never had happened.

tasers would be good good start.

100 tasers !!!...    Definitely needed in this situation - I'm not sure why they are not far more common here.

I hope not... kind of...   Deportation would be way to much of a let off...  This vermin needs to be spending time in a hell hole before released into the legal softness and comforts of the west.

The motive for his attack and the cause of his initial unconsciousness remains unknown.

I have a guess.

Could it have been ...drugs?

Guess.

TBH I'm not bothered.

Could be any, that's the beauty of globalism.

Either drugs or mental health issues, or both

Should there not, then, be better prior screening of those welcomed to Thailand for a holiday, if for no other reason than to avoid these otherwise inevitable calamities?

Raghead. Probably got mad because it wasn't an all male ward.

The actions of this "foreign man" seem highly unusual as most TV commercials, magazine ads, web pages in the United States picture these "foreign men" as Doctors, CEO's, business men, PhD's and highly skilled and educated professionals.

Both happened in hospitals?

Lock him up in Klong Prem for the rest of the sc*** life and see how he enjoys waking up there...

So what, he punched a couple hospital workers and then ran away ?

There's not mention of what happened after the initial assaults. Did they apprehend him at the hospital ? Is he running around Bangkok ?

It looks like they got him at the end after the (security ? police ?) guy showed up.

And if that was Canada you can bet the hospital staff and the (security/cop) would end up being forced to apologize to the guy and then there'd be an out of court settlement for "infringing on his rights" - even if he wasn't Canadian.

In a related incident, 26 year old Thai man Apichai was shot and killed by Mueang Surin Police Station officers at Surin Hospital after he went on a rampage, wielding an axe and attacking medical workers, patients, and their families.

The police explained that they urged Apichai three times to put down the weapon, but he refused and charged the officers with the axe. In self-defence, the officers shot him to death. The incident sparked public debate about whether the officers used excessive force.

When did this incident happen in Surin Hospital?

Lethal force should have been used. Regardless of nationality.

I'm so sad, Thailand is changing.

When I arrived 1998, working offshore the foreigners were worthy people, sadly today so many of them are nasty, horrible people.

I've pointed this issue out in the past, Thai businesses are not as welcoming, friendly, they are starting to hate us now.

In Canada he would be arrested and released on the same day. The security would just stare, so thumbs up to Thai securitu guy trying to stop him.

Putting a bad guy back on the street is good for business, the cops, the lawyers, the court workers , the judge all need bad guys out there so they can make their wages.

He's African. How can he be British? OK, by nationality, sure, but that doesn't make him a real Brit. It means he's an immigrant.

Muppet - no other words for him I've woke up from being unconscious from a coma before and the last thing on my mind was knocking doctors and nurses out - working out where I was and why I was there was more important

Psychological issues maybe this idiot then get back to your own country and sort it then return when you can treat people respectfully

He looks healthy, why was he brought to the hospital in the first place?  They should keep a baseball bat for these things.

Have to read the article, he was found unconscious

Put this animal down. It doesn't matter what he was on - attacking random people for no reason makes you an animal, not human. Hope he gets what he deserves (jail+deportation+lifetime ban)

Or sleeping? Perhaps he suffers from narcolepsy.
