A motorcyclist shocked commuters by performing daring stunts on a major road, riding hands-free and sideways on his red Yamaha Filano. The reckless behaviour, captured on video, has sparked mixed reactions online.

The viral clip, originally shared by a Facebook user, shows a man dressed in a black shirt, shorts, and a face covering as he maneuvers his motorcycle dangerously. The rider turned his body sideways and released both hands from the handlebars while speeding down a busy road. Fellow motorists watched anxiously, unsure if he would crash.

The post captioned the video with the phrase, “Riding with no fear of death”, highlighting the thrill-seeking but perilous behaviour.

A local witness, Mr. M 20, who filmed the incident, shared his experience with reporters. He explained that he spotted the rider while returning home along Sukhumvit Road, near the South Pattaya intersection heading toward Sattahip.

The man rode in that bizarre position for 2-3 kilometres, Mr. M recounted. I found it strange and a bit cool, but it was also reckless and dangerous. I quickly took out my phone to record it.

While many viewers expressed amazement at the rider audacity, others criticised the stunt as hazardous and irresponsible. Mr. M added, I don’t want anyone to imitate this behaviour, it’stoo risky and could easily lead to accidents.

Local authorities have yet to comment on the incident, but calls for stricter enforcement of road safety regulations have intensified following the video’s circulation.

I'm stunned...  or is it shocked...   both perhaps....

I'm also disappointed at the absense of netizen outrage....

... But what really shocks me...    this is a Thai....  I thought only foreigners doing dumb-shyat on their motorcycles was allowed to 'go viral'....    or... perhaps this hasn't gone viral, hence the absense of netizen outrage !!!! :whistling:

Eiher way...   someone has to be exceptionally dumb to ride like this...  but we see similar stuff daily !

Very talented but it had a lot to do with the bike, couldn't do that on a Honda Scoopy

No problem. It´s soon going to happen. Just let him die. It´s just going to be a small adjustment in the numbers.

That describes every Thai motorcyclist in the country.

Helmet?

Helmets are lame.

He's just letting it out. Trying to have a moment of fun on a dull day. Props to this chap

This is tame compared to some motorcycle riders' antics. Always amazes me, those teens that adopt the "superman" pose while riding their Honda Wave or similar at 120kph on a busy highway.

100%....

Now we should do an experiment...    Get 100x 'Harsh Jones' ... get them to run into a wall as fast as they can... (which would probably be about 10kmh)...   see how many of them return to to post on this forum...

Then consider that most kids ride a bike faster than 10 kmh...  every motorcycle journey taken will reach speeds far exceeding 10km - most likely 50 kmh on average...  Kids sledding will reach decent speeds of up to 30 kmh...

Not wearing a helmet - utter twit...   and there are then those who will say its his own choice and it will only impact him...

Well it wont... it will impact his family when hes a vegetable...  It will impact the innocent person in a car who he hits who will then have to live with the gilt that they were involved in an accident where another party was killed or brain damaged...

...

Responses from those such as 'Harsh Jones' are a perfect example of why helmet wear has to be legal and enforced... for surely such enforcement would have protected him from such head injury and he'd be better placed to formulate more intelligent comments.

Was he too riding a motorcycle at the same time?
