Who but a fascist or insane person would want to reconcile with Trump?

  • This would not have happened except for DEMOCRATS who cornered Zelenski just before the meeting with Trump and telling him no to sign the agreement.  So tired of anti Trumpers who go around calling Tr

  • I think Zelensky should reconcile with Trump, but only if Trump seeks reconciliation. In other words, I don't believe that Zelensky should "bow down" to Trump, but a handshake and a "let's start over"

And do you think the UK should send 100,000 men and women to fight in Russia.

Not my decision to make, but tell me Kier, do folk join the armed forces, if so, why....?

The Ukrainian and Russkie kids sitting on the front line, just for a start.  I'm sure they'd like to live.

And you know all of this how?

I've extrapolated it from all the various reports I've read. Some of it is my opinion.

I think Zelensky was ready to sign over the mineral rights until he read the entire "deal." It obviously was not assuring enough for him. That's why he said what he said in the White House. Also, Russia seems to be very willing to agree to the "deal." This to me means they would get everything they want.

Bit late to stop appeasement by then!

You are such a phony. "Not my decision to make" when asked a simple question, yet ready to spew all manner of nonsense you don't even have a vote on. Weak.

It's all your opinion, yet you state it as fact.

Except that he had already agreed to it before he got there and reneged once he got in the meeting.

He has since backpedaled and said he would sign it.

What is "everything they want"

Trump could have cut Ukraine off the moment he got into office the way Biden did, but he didn't.

What a disgusting and meaningless response to a serious statement regarding appeasement and possible wars.

More troublesome for Putin than for Zelensky? About 25% of Ukraine's population has fled, while Russia has lost just a few.

Interesting that you give a specific figure of 25% for Ukraine's population but only quote "while Russia has lost just a few"!  Incredibly non factual reporting.

Please try again with accurate figures and sources next time! (if possible!)

Sorry Scottie, what do you think the numbers are?

My opinion usually turns out to be fact.
I don't think he saw the entire agreement until he got to Washington, DC.
"Everything they want" is all the land they now occupy and probably a cessation or reduction of economic sanctions.
Biden did not cut the support to Ukraine off. Trump has cut it off now.

Ridiculous. Of course he saw it, it was agreed to by both sides before he ever got there. It went back and forth for two weeks.

It was a signing ceremony.

And you think funding a stalemate is going to wear Putin down to where he gives back everything to pre-2014 borders?

Biden absolutely cut arms shipments to Ukraine when he took office. Biden also lifted sanctions on Russia, including the sanctions Trump had imposed on Russia.

Give a few examples then. I bet it's not.

"So, when Trump bows to the king, I will kick him out of play."

Got to give The Don a bit more time. Early days yet.

Zelensky is caught between a rock and a hard place. The longer he stalls, the harder the squeezing will get.

Sop Kier is just a script-reader. Should get his own country straight first.

Someone that has a 4% approval rate and will be clintoned unless he does.

So you can't accept my reply OR answer a very simple question......🙄

How surprising..............😂

A good example is all my posts concerning the Israeli attempt to drive all the Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank. I predicted that years ago.

I think Zelensky only saw what was expected of him in the "deal." I don't believe he saw everything that was promised Russia even now. His main objection during the meaning was that he could not accept Russia's word on what they would and would not do. They've broken their promises to Ukraine before.

I think a stalemate will wear Putin down. Of course, it will wear Ukraine down also. I don't expect there will be any fair settlement, but if there is, it won't include the return of Crimea unless this war escalates to the point where Europe becomes actively involved, and that could lead to the use of nuclear weapons.

Biden did put pauses on arm sales occasionally, but he never stopped them. At the end of his term, he was sending a lot of support to Ukraine.

The best example is my prediction about how Israel will use the Oct 7 attack to try to completely drive all Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank.

That's only one prediction.

Pause means stop.

It's an example of many.

"Pause" means to stop temporarily with the intention to continue.

"Stop" means stop with no intention to restart.

So why are stop signs not called pause signs?

I think what you mean is that when a leftist stops arms shipments, the left calls it a "pause".

Stop signs are mislabeled.

If anyone halts anything with the intention of resuming the activity, it's called a "pause."

If anyone halts anything with no intention of resuming the activity, it's called a "stop."

Now, can we please return to discussing the topic of "reconciling with Trump," which implies that this cessation of talks was a pause?
