There are many Brits in Pattaya when i venture to those areas, and regulars. Most who sit their long term, are on some form of benefits back in the UK, some setting up accounts in Phillppines - these people look thick as anything but when it comes to fiddling the system suddenly turn into Steve Jobs. 

 

They're all racist too, and blame all the issues on immigrants, meanwhile they themselves are fleecing their own country.

I've read dozens of posts on AN over the years from Brits bragging on how smart they are, scamming their benefits by not letting the gub'ment know they're in Thailand.  They're claiming it's not a scam.  But then I read this (posted earlier)

 

But there there are several instances where it is classified as fraud if you have benefits paid to you while abroad, which can include.

She is being funded by the british taxpayer according to her own video. She say's she receives £2,335 per month (tax free) of disability benefits. That's 101,746 Baht per month! There's many expats here who worked their whole life and receive nothing like that amount. This story is quite scandalous and the British government should be ashamed that this has been allowed to happen. She is just one of many thousands of people abusing the UK benefits system.

Sounds like when I was in juvenile jail a few months ago for a interview obtaining parental rights. There was russian kids locked up in there due to their mothers overstaying and/or working illegally... Quite insane that kids get locked up here in jail as a result and their embassies seem to barely even take action on it.

A friend is on benefits in the UK after having a stroke, the rule is he is allowed only 4 weeks per year out of country or he would lose them, easy for the government to track people normally though bank accounts and regular intervals.

IMO take care of the kids and let UK Gov tell her to repay the money she's STOLEN from we honest Brits before they even think about helping her. IE never.
