My Uk pension has just gone up now nearly £800.00

/ month or about 34,500 baht.

Don’t believe everything the UK government tells you.

That's odd mine is 869 pounds every 4 weeks 12,000 a year.

There's a very well stocked gym near here that is 30 baht for as long as you want. You scan a QR Code to pay, so I guess Australians could just pretend to scan it. Either way I doubt it would break the bank. I'm not sure using a gym is fully advisable for pensioners.

Well that's another topic ,but there is many fit guys on here

I installed solar panels because I got tired of the power going out all the time.

The electricity it produces is free as a bonus.

Ok, i didn't see that twist..

and regularly going to the gym in their 70s?

A local park with an exercise machine section is more than adequate for fit guys in their 70s. 🙂 Better socially too for being with similarly aged people every evening. 🙂

May be inadequate if you get bitten by a monkey.

Lol - I've already had my rabies vaccinations, so just an emergency shot if one of those nasty Lopburi monkeys tries to bite me.  Mind you, I wasn't trying to have sex with it 🙂

1000 baht a day is totally doable. But you need cheap hobbies.

Used to be able to get a 50b BJ from the bush babies... ahh those were the day.

Ask me after I've had the new payment!

Every 4 weeks happens randomly, not on the 1st.

The first complete new payment will be in the middle of May.

And some of you UK also around the same , please may I ask how your lifestyle is on this amount

what's the dealio with you?

you been traveling back and forth to pattaya with endless threads for the past couple of years, but you're still not retired?

once you get your boots on the ground, then you can start doing the math yourself.

but you gotta get boots on the ground otherwise it's too abstract.

And then you need to do sth called ... budgeting.

Currently £230.25 per week = £997 a month

When I retire in 2041 projected to be £2284 a month or over 100 000 THB at current rates
