To add to this, I would guess it's healthier for both body and mind to go walking around a park with a lake etc, and do some of those light and easy exercise machines they have there with the other pensioners either early morning or every evening instead of being inside a full gym.

I installed inverter/battery because I got tired of the power going out all the time. The electricity it produces is free as a bonus.

 

I guess if you consider the panels as an extra expense on top of the full house ups, they paid for themselves a year back.

A local park with an exercise machine section is more than adequate for fit guys in their 70s. 🙂 Better socially too for being with similarly aged people every evening. 🙂
