Yeah number one was the NAFTA trade agreement between Mexico the US and Canada - the one that he aloud wondered who was the Idiot that negotiated this agreement- Himself of course!! A total idiot - now he continues to lie every day about how so many negotiations are underway.  I realize that a lot of countries may want to re-negotiate their trade too - maybe some good will come of it but I don't think it is very wise to thrown one's close allies under the bus so to speak.  IMHO the rich are not going to build any new factories in the next decade - and wonder where all the necessary raw materials for whatever they do decide might be worthwhile and inexpensive.  And, unless they see some stability on the world trade situation then they won't even consider building something to be manned by robotics, not US workers that Trump says will be take care of and make them rich!  Guess a lot of offers must be coming in for the Brooklyn Bridge!

So I will set a price, and when I set the price, and I will set it fairly according to the statistics, and according to everything else. For instance, do they have the VAT system in play? Do they charge us tariffs? How much are they charging us? How much have they been charging us? Many, many different factors, right. How are we being treated by that country? And then I will set a tariff. Are we paying for their military? You know, as an example, we have Korea. We pay billions of dollars for the military. Japan, billions for those and others. I really wonder how people can be so bored as to go back and forth debating the merit or lack thereof of a prolific lying SOB.

If he has negotiated 200 trade deals, and he has spoken to President Xi in the last few days, he would be shouting it from the rooftops.

 

OTOH if he won't talk about that then it is a fair bet that he has not, because there is no confirmation of anything, other than his word, and by now the world, other than MAGA know what that is worth.

NAFTA was not negotiated by the present American leader. It was negotiated in 1992. It was replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in 2020, following negotiation lead by the present incumbant.
