Burkha?
I doubt it.

They were wearing burkhas, that's indisputable.

Their behavior was odd enough for me to notice. Living in the lower Sukhumvit area, I see burkhas daily, but they are usually like invisibility cloaks; you just don't notice the women in them.

This time, they stood out. I thought it was odd, maybe they were just out for the sights, but there were 3, maybe four, out front of a bar, no men around, and they appeared to be settled in. Red lipstick on one, I looked but couldn't see red shoes.

Maybe I'm wrong, but they left an impression

And where are you living these days? A place that has been taken overrun by foreigners?

Most of which are on holiday here - not living here and sponging money from the State!

They haven’t taken over any countries in Europe and haven’t taken over the UK.

I live in Phuket, that used to be Muslim, but us foreigners have taken over the joint now.

I find the Muslims here to be the best behaved of everyone. The men don’t get in drunken brawls and the women are not out there shutting around.

Dream on in ignorance
