Retired expat out there who has been issued with a TIN number?
Again, according to OECD CRS rules a TIN is not a mandatory requirement. Individuals can explain why they are unable to obtain a TIN. Not paying tax in your country of tax residence is a perfect valid reason. I hold several offshore accounts in high street international banks, they all have understood that I can't provide a Thai TIN as I don't have taxable income in Thailand. A financial institution may obviously insist to get a TIN, customers have always the choice to move to more reasonable banking if they don't want to comply with bank policy. -

Take back the Sanctuary DC and return it to the Feds...
I'm sure that Red States/Cities with very high crime rates, higher than D.C., will also get the attention of trump, who will deploy the national guard. Maybe start with Anniston Alabama? FBI Reveals The Most Dangerous City In The South, And It's Not New Orleans Anniston is a small city located in northeastern Alabama with just over 21,000 residents. Despite its size, it consistently ranks among the most dangerous cities in the South. According to FBI crime data from 2023, the Anniston Police Department recorded a violent crime rate of 904.01 incidents per 100,000 people, much higher than the 385.45 violent crime rate recorded for the United States as a whole. https://www.thetravel.com/fbi-reveals-dangerous-southern-city-besides-new-orleans/ -

Right. Especially since we saw Charleton Heston lead Jews through parted waters in the Red Sea and away from the Egyptian Pharoa. So that was 1956. So at least since then..🤫 -

Car insurance cancelled with no warning.
The 'top-up' equates to a higher premium that reduces the insurers' exposure (it is harder to get parts for older cars if/when a damage claim is being addressed). When your insurer says your vehicle is too old for First class coverage and doesn't offer the 'top-up' method, that's the time to get in touch with a broker and seek options. -
