Tech billionaire Elon Musk spent the hour of President Donald Trump's press conference both fact-checking the U.S. leader and attacking him for not being grateful to him.

"Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate," Musk wrote on X, replying to a user.

''Such ingratitude," he added.

 

"Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will, anymore," Trump told the press Thursday.

The Tesla boss gave no evidence for the claim but it comes after the US President said he is “disappointed” with Elon Musk for publicly criticising his signature tax bill.

Totally left field. So unexpected. They seemed so happy together.

 

A "nasty, so nasty" comment from Trump about Musk is due soon.

I must confess that I am surprised. I had thought that their relationship would endure, both had something the other craved, money and power. I have posted that a couple of times.

 

Perhaps I reckoned without their respective egos? Trump may have found another source of cash - the Middle East perhaps?

 

Still, jolly entertaining. And probably more entertainment to come when both parties inevitably start talking about principles!

As to the Trump - Musk dustup, Ms. Karoline Leavitt says (in effect) as she has said before:

Boys will be boys.

How long will it take until the left welcomes Elon back into the fold.....

 

Personally, I agree with him. The deficit is out of control and needs to be reined in.  I guess Trump is learning the gentle art of politics quickly.

He had access to the Epstein files, and, maybe, made copies (I would have in his position). Who knows, if the two former lovers keep quarrelling like this, perhaps, in a rage, Musk might publish them on X... 😆

There is a scene in a Dirty Harry movie where he gives a guy a heart attack by just talking to him.  I imagine hearing the name Epstein coming from EM might affect DT the same way.

I am wondering about this too. It is all too convenient, seems scripted...  Trump is an expert troll, he has been trolling Canada for months. I can see the two of them getting together and planning this whole thing, just to mess with the media and their willing syncophants.
