Why DHL and not EMS at post office? Both fast and tracked

All kinds of reasons why that can be disputed. Post a letter via EMS to the UK on Monday am in Banpet. Wednesday am and Thailand Post reports letter arrived UK 12:15pm. UK post says it is still awaiting departure form country of origin. The following Tuesday UK post says the item beliveredn13.56 pm. Total cost B1250:00

Two weeks later, letter to the same address in UK takes 5 days. The total cost B450

DHL letter to same address a month later. FOUR DAYS @ B550.

A small parcel to same address in UK took 5 days. Weight 1/2Kg cost B1500 via DHL. I know where my money goes!

If sent properly it's never more than 5 days either way.

EMS. Do your own research either in person or a thing known as Google.

DHL offer a service for important docs like that, 48hrs door to door anywhere in the world, docs only, used to be £48.

I had two similar experiences with EMS, the first small parcel took almost 6 weeks to arrive, it went off the tracking radar at BKK with no way of findingoutwhathadhappened.

The second, important legal documents, took 4 weeks again, they disappeared from tracking at BKK.

Due to the urgent importance, I had to reprint the documents and have them legalised again, then sent via DHL. These arrived 4 days later.

Off topic but I just received a Christmas card here in Thailand that started off in Adelaide some time ago!

Surely Admin should block such ridiculous posts.

which one  ?

for other, unless extremely important, or they only accept original certified letter, post a couple copies regular snail mail, as it might take a day or 3 more to get there.   Do separate the mailing by about a week, so they don't both end up in the same tray and get lost.

EMS probably cheapest and works fine, though you may not get a receipt of arrival.   The other acronym vendors are silly priced, and may use the same aircrafts the ThaiPost does, so reality, no special service.
