Why Trump is the wrong man for job

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

There are so many reasons why Trump is the wrong man for the leadership of America at this time. The world is in great need of peace, harmony and someone to unify the people of this incredibly diverse planet that we occupy. Trump is doing the exact opposite with his black heart, and hate filled rhetoric, he is dividing people on a daily basis, and he's giving permission to his supporters to display hatred, division, and animosity toward both non Americans and people of color with his coded language. He is not what is needed, and he is the exact opposite of what many of us would hope for in a good, decent, noble world leader, all the qualities that Trump does not possess.

He seems to go out of his way to stress the differences that we all have, and claim a false sense of American superiority and exceptionalism. That kind of behavior and language is not only not helpful, it's destructive, it's demeaning, it's insulting and it is driving away our friends and allies, greatly diminishing America.

At the same time he is creating a huge opening for China. Without intending to do so he seems to be building up Chinese relevance, and pushing many nations towards them, while at the same time diminishing American relevance by the day. It takes a unique and stunning level of ignorance to be able to accomplish that. Trump is Xi's wet dream.

Why is he doing that?

Is he is not intending to do so or is there some driving force behind this weird stance?

Well Spidermike007, that could be applied to almost 80% of world country's leaders these days... everyone from the US to UK to France to the EU to Russia to Turkey to Thailand to China to Burma to Africa as a whole to South America to the Middle East, to almost everywhere. Almost everywhere you look, countries are being run by morons that have a deluded voter base. I know everyone on this forum likes having a pop at Trump, but it/the same goes for pretty much everywhere now... why the world is in such disarray and disfunctional.

Which says nothing!

Comparing turds and Lettice salads is meaningless!

Even both their VP's would have been better, and that says something about the US potential US Presidential candidates put forward at the last election!

I don't know spidermike007 as I'm sure Harris would have just been another type of disaster.  And I agree with you - Trump is also a disaster.  The US, am afraid, is well and truly FUBARed.

Here's the problem.  There is so much money pumped into whichever horse the Republicans or the Democrats put into the race, and that money buys propaganda (marketing), and both side shine their candidates to a brilliant sheen after which a really rather dumb and stupid electorate picks the shiniest candidate.  Highly qualified candidates for office who actually have the interests of the people first and foremost are as rare as hen's teeth as virtually all candidates for office work for their mega-donors interests and the personal interests of the themselves, the public be damned.

Could we measure how well he's doing by the bottom 30% of the people at the grocery store instead of the top 1% at the stock market?

I don't think he's doing very well at all.

How has your life in THAILAND (you dont even live in the US) changed since Trump took office?

Stock market goes up and down all the time, value of dollar fluctuates no matter who is in power.

If you were a pygmy living in the Amazon jungle and had no internet, you wouldn't notice the difference who's in charge of what.

Well, here we go with more Anti-Trump "BS!" In the last week, I believe he has done more than any President in the USA, and I am looking forward for the next 3.5 years of a "GOLDEN ERA!!"

You obviously have no knowledge or respect of the many previous really good US Presidents both on the world stage and internally to/in the USA!

No denying he has "done a lot" but  has it been golden? Really?  Educate me on what Trump has actually "done" to the betterment of anyone ?

China is crumbling and their current leader about to go down the drain. The problem with China is that we NEVER hear any information about what is going on there; riots, anti government demonstrations, banks collapsing, workers not being paid but we hear everything about America and Trump's woes. But Xi is in big trouble and the Chinese economy is crashing under President Xi. Partially due to Trump's tarrifs which have really stung China. Yes, yes yes. I know that people on this forum are anti Trump & pro China so won't like to read this. But tough sh!t.

Give us a measure.

These guys just cannot help themselves... not a day goes by without someone crying about Trump, very few still live ther and many are not even American citizens..  the acronym that cannot be mentioned is real!!
