Furthermore, the OP as a prime example of the regression of critical thinking among the 'non-leftist' side of the population. There is zero logical progression or a formal argument for the OP's position.  Reality: the president consistently targets established educational systems not by accident, but by design. A critically-minded, educated populace represents a significant hurdle to unchecked power, as intellectual autonomy naturally undermines the uncritical acceptance essential for authoritarian control. In short, discerning minds are harder to dominate. I'm free to say this, but if I was a foreigner visiting the US, I could be in big trouble. Freedom of speech is in jeopardy because of the president and his radical base.

It's my hope the OP could understand the depth of your response. Spot on in my view. An educated populous is not easily swayed and has the knowledge to see propaganda for what it is and use critical thinking to reason the true from the false and the manipulative rhetoric from the genuine.

 

Some have "bought in" to the propaganda to such an extent that they believe what the social media algoritymns keep throwing their way. They come to the conclusion that these extremist right-wing MAGA views and spins on reality are the only right ones.
