In a dramatic move, former President Donald Trump has filed a libel lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and its reporters regarding a controversial article. The piece claims Trump was among the individuals who wrote letters to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003, with one mentioning an outline of a naked woman.

Filed in South Florida’s federal court, the lawsuit accuses the Wall Street Journal of libel, assault, and slander. While details are sparse, Trump has firmly denied writing the letter, and no lawsuit copy was included in the court docket.

Trump immediately threatened the story's authors, Khadeeja Safdar and Joe Palazzolo, with legal action. In a post on Truth Social, Trump claims Rupert Murdoch, the owner of News Corp, which owns the Journal, was personally warned about the letter’s alleged fabrications.

Murdoch reportedly assured Trump that he would resolve the issue, but according to the lawsuit, such assurances proved ineffective. CNN is seeking a response from the Wall Street Journal regarding the allegations.

Epstein's connections, including his interactions with Trump, have faced growing public interest. Despite Epstein's death in 2019 being ruled a suicide, questions and conspiracy theories persist, with Trump expressing a willingness to disclose further details if elected in 2024.

A recent Justice Department memo denied the existence of a so-called "client list" linked to Epstein’s alleged crimes, a point that has frustrated Trump’s supporters and stirred division within his political base. Such revelations continue to underscore the complexity of Epstein’s legacy and the controversies surrounding those who knew him.

He should’ve pushed for it all to be opened up as soon as he got back in the House. Even though he probably was up to no good, by stalling paints him as a fiddler anyway.
Not that a lowly president could do so, but let’s get to ‘proper’ JFK files opened up too. We all know Angleton was behind it!

Well at least some portion of his maga cult will continue to believe every toxic lie that he spews. He's just following the instructions of his villainous mentor Roy Cohn until the bitter end. It's not as if he's even capable of learning a new trick at this point.

Did not realise he was mentored by that toxic closet case.   Roy Cohn was a nasty piece of work.  Explains a lot about Trump.

Yes. The student surpassed the teacher. Tragically for Americans.

The stock market is reaching new highs so what to do? Oh yeah let's focus on a Birthday card. What a bunch of losers.

Add to that border closed, illegals being deported, inflation low, employment up, trillions in investment coming into the US, tariff deals being settled, crime down, wars stopped etc. Oh no! Can't talk about that. All focus from the loony left must be negative. This is a good part of the reason Harris lost the election. 100% negative campaign.

The stock market is high, the border secure so let's NOT talk about children that were raped such a long time ago. It's all a hoax anyway. Maxwell is on vacation.
