Poll-takers were found to be especially unhappy with the current government in Israel, with 68% giving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a negative rating, including 48% rating his leadership as "poor," a 20% increase from a Pew Research Center poll from five years ago.

 

Jews overwhelmingly blame Hamas for the war, with 94% agreeing that Hamas has committed war crimes against Israel.

Under Bi Bi s leader ship they have certainly lost the moral high ground and in my view it’s lasting damage + an inspiration to Israel’s enemies not good.its time to stop,hammas has been crushed and they can hunt down and exterminate the hammas criminals one by one.

Does it serve the myriad innocents right that got slaughtered? What Hamas did was despicable, but Israeli gov response was OTT. They will not care about this poll of course, but it will cause lasting damage to the image of Israel and ordinary Jews around the world. 

Has there ever been a major war without war crimes? Don't even know why there is such a thing, war is very messy. USA killed 3.8 million Vietnamese, the majority of them civilians. Did they throw LBJ in jail, I don't think so.

The Gazans allowed Hamas to run govt, apparently supported, tolerated for years.  Hear about the Gazans' slaughter, killed & starving, but nothing about the Gazans' condemning the attack on Israel that got it started.

 

Reap what you sow.   Israel warned the citizen & Hames to give back the hostages or else.  Israel even warned, 'hey, we're coming through, leave town or else', before they did come and destroy everything.   Early clearing for settlement building later on.

To be fair to the average Gazan, I don’t think they had much choice. 
The small minority of Gazans who did support Hamas held all the weapons.

And the killing of 20,000 children was too much, they were only kids.

Please support your claim that only a small minority of Gazans support Hamas. 

 

Gazans raped, tortured, killed and kidnapped Israeli children in front of their parents, and then raped, tortured, killed and kidnapped the parents. 

 

The then paraded the hostages through the streets filled with Gazans cheering, hitting and spitting on the hostages.

 

Palestinians are responsible for the 20,000 "children", and if they do not disarm, they will be responsible for the next 20,000 "children", and if that's what it takes, so be it.

94% say Hamas/Palestine has committed war crimes while 61% say Irael has committed war crimes, so clearly, they think Hamas/Palestine is worse.

It looks like the American Jew according to the article  are far detached from their brethren in Israel.
