What should you be called ?

Featured Replies

We’ve all been here a while and “member” feels a bit bland, doesn’t it? Time to give ourselves a proper name.

Think of it as a bit of fun — what should we call people who hang around ASEAN NOW?

Some ideas so far:

Aseanese (flows nicely)

Aseanites (a bit old-school cool)

Nowsters (cheeky nod to the forum name)

ASEAN Crew (simple, direct)

Throw your ideas in. Doesn’t have to be serious — wordplay, puns, whatever works.

Once we’ve got a few good ones, maybe we’ll run a poll and make it official.

Masochists...........:whistling:

I don't really care what you call me as long as you call me in time for dinner.

To be totally honest i am not looking forward to getting named but i can imagine some one will come up with something beautiful.

Member? Like a City member, or Country member? We do.😄

New members maybe "Padawan".

Been here for a while "Captain".

Experienced and been here long-time and experienced "Grasshopper".

Sounds like a group out of the Bible.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Bible is cool.

A new member will simply be known as  ANal .

After a trial period consisting of at least 200 posts..... the ANelites will gather to pronounce

the final placement of members    into one of two categories :

1. ANal retentives  ( stubborn , stingy,  and with a fondness of putting laugh emojis on their own posts ) .   Renowned for five word or less troll attention seekers .

2.  ANal expulsives ( i would give some examples but ............ rule 3i ! )

Not only prone , but almost uncontrollably emotional , ego driven, with a messy need to

take over the topic at hand .
