Well that's not the opinion of the US Gov right now. Most of the Fentanyl was coming directly over the border from Mexico until earlier this year. Now that the US/Mexico border has been closed off more tightly, the claim is that more is being redirected through Venezuela, then transported by boats. Same goes for other types of drugs.

Getting rid of the Maduro regime would be a good thing. The fear is more that the method to be used may create more problems than it may solve.

I don't know if he is evil, without hope of redemption - I do not believe that man can make that ultimate judgement,  and with it of course the ultimate sanction; although we can hold an opinion. it is not for us to judge.

 

I do hold that he is a deeply flawed utterly amoral character.  He has done many things that many consider are wicked or have brought evil consequences. 

 

There is of course the school of thought that he is still with us because even Satan doesn't want him!
