Yes, the Lotus at the back opens at 8:30. Having been there at that hour, the people who go there at that time are the old lady brigade and the maids who buy groceries. There is no point going to the mall at that hour because the specialty stores including the bakeries are still closed. The Big C at BluPort may be open but the fruit and baked goods are not put out until later. If you want yesterdays items, then yes that's the time to go. And if you need to have that alcohol purchase that early in the day, then ok. Like most consumers, I don't care.
