Absurd reporting, should there be substance to this article could someone who can synapse please explain the logic behind the blanked out faces.

Perhaps the editors should look for other employment as they are bloody useless at the job they have.More substance reading a comic.

"only described as “farang,”"

I feel a bit sorry for the Thai 'master-race'. They can be an endearing bunch but they are so terribly ignorant about the world outside of their very small bubble - and globalisation is going to hit them very hard indeed.

"A foreign national is being held for attempted rape on board a Bangkok airways flight." There, no xenophobic epithets required, nice and easy.

Why is it that an alleged air hostess rapist gets censored but a guy who reported a kidnapping has the ID page of his passport shown in the news?

From my observation of the seated picture, I'd say the subject is left-handed, has had recent and lengthy experience with heavy weapons, and is probably undergoing some mental trauma. His left thumb is unusually straight and left fist somewhat clenched, whilst the right hand seems to be calming it. People with unusually straight fingers may have been carrying small arms for a while. Those with oddly straight thumbs may have become accustomed to carrying heavier weapons, like RPGs. The haircut, if military, suggests a junior rank.

Clearly the guy in the OP isn't the only one, who needs to take his medication!!w00t.gif

Parochialism is hardly unique to Thailand, but it is very striking there, and we are commenting on a Thai news article.

There seems to be something missing from this story.

Am still waiting for a photo of the stewardess without her shirt. Even a link would be useful.whistling.gif

That was my only purpose in trawling through seven pages of this topic.

Psychosis happens! Anyone can get caught by it.

A Thai man some time ago who went beating up the Supreme God at Erawan shrine was instantly killed by fellow Thais.

A teacher from Africa told me recently about a woman who went stomping in the dormitories of male students.

Villagers ran by, and stoned her dead. I was shocked!

Lucky him he was on a flight, so he survived.

This has got to be one of the craziest behavioral explanations ever. Psychosis Happens? Really? I'm so mad at this comment I'm going to go out and kill someone. Gimme a break.....cheesy.gif

I think he means foreigners causing trouble here. The answer far too often. And i agree i can fully understand why the Thais have come to dislike us. Number one, two and three reasons. Drunk, obnoxious and act like they can care less about the Thais and their customs. Maybe YOU forgot WE are guests here.

And foreigners wonder why some Thai dont like em... Seen this happen all to often..

Really? How many times have you seen this happen?

if all reporting correct sounds like a right loser what a tosser

Boy even a drunk in his giddy mind would not react like that .... choice of words a bit to dramatijjc... ripped that is sudden tearing off right. I can imagine him trying to go for her breasts or such and she falls down and in the struggle she tries to get away while he is clutching her jacket and it shreds off or something like that....

Well, on the otherhand it sounds like he was on drugs..... or have they started issuing ice on board these routes to get passengers? Nah just kidding...

whatever it is its wrong and indecent. He should be locked up in a womens prison....that would straighten him up.

More like harden him up.

They blocked out the faces of all of these people, but in the photos and video of Nana Plaza in the other thread, a lot of people, innocent of any crime, are now embarrassed in front of the world.

As if they ever cared! Pfff... Farang bah, Farang nee anyway.

Oh dear my friend. Enjoy your stay in Thai prison. You have earned it.

I guess you did not read everything:

The man was escorted out by airport security. No charges were reportedly filed, but he was blacklisted from the airline.wai.gif

yes, one wonders why Thai Immigration didn't put him on the next flight back to his departure point. Unless this is the type of visitor that is being welcomed these days.

When that 'passenger' was drunk when boarding, they shouldn't have let him on the plane in the first place, period. But I have witnessed it, several times,: inebriated persons, in a really bad shape, being let on the plane, and making a, big, nuisance of themselves during the flight, and creating problems to other passengers, and the crew! Can you believe it, earlier this year, there were two such morons on 'my' flight, really as drunk as ..., and the noise, and the smell(s), but... they were allowed to buy, and drink, an extra 6 cans of beer each on the one hour flight... 'Boutique' it may be, but business first, in good Chinese logic... And then this...

He's an <deleted>, no question about it, but he'd still be an <deleted> even if the headline had read ''Drunk MAN assaults...'' Does this story carry more weight if he's farang
