I can't seem to logout (Chrome). I see a "broken" image left of my username, and do not see the three 'dots" right of it.

I can logout using Firefox, but that doesn't seem to log me out of Chrome.

Any advice?

Enlarge the image (Ctrl+scroll) until the menu icon appears and click on that?  No way I can get it to appear by shrinking image.  Just something else I guess.  :saai:

It looks like you have a failed avatar upload that causes your name to appear instead.

Go to your profile. Click where the image symbolis as shown here.

Then click no photo and save or upload a new photo.

After doing the no photo you will have a M in colored box stead of your user name. And your user name that you need to click to sign out will appear to the right of it.

Could you please consider placing any threads containing the keywords Trump, Brexit, Yingluck or Referendum into single threads enabling other topics to reach the board more prominently?

The positioning of the green ribbon showing a thread as popular renders it impossible to select "thanks" or "like" on my android phones.

Topics are not merged.

Why not follow the news as it is posted on Thailand Live. A new one is posted everyday.

Much easier than trying to follow them on the news forum page.

The site seems to work fine. No problems there.

What I don't understand why Thaivisa logo was changed to this blue durian?

Thaivisa used to have an excellent 'HEY, I BET YOU NOTICE ME' logo with it's bright warning colours to draw attention. You should have kept that.

In fact I think I'll steal the original idea and change my websites look more like Thaivisa did before. Thanks for the idea. ????

I'm seeing a rather nasty image where it should show "Following" and I think the font should be bolder as it was before.

Agree, considering the main demographic of the site is most likely older expats who's eyesight isn't what it once was, I think the new faint text may present some difficulties. Not really sure what the need for the redesign was, I thought the old one was great, including the much more professional looking header

Edit. Didn't realise there's a thread already running:

Thank you @lamyai3????

As you showed, my problem is already logged there, so i am now following that thread to see what happens.

That square box around the emoji doesn't look very nice either ????

UPDATE:

The thread to which you linked is now closed, but apparently "the powers that be" have taken note of our comments - the issue with the emojis is in there too.

I'm struggling with the new colors, on my laptop, is there any way I can adjust the color of the font ?  I have to zoom in on the Chrome browser to be able to read clearly.

I can't read it now.......the font is not clear enough and the colour much too faded....please bring back the black!!!!

It looks like it is black now, though it still could be bolder.

Can't seem to 'unfollow' a thread.

let me ask you which do you think is more readable? NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE. And what happened to the time and date the topic was started? Thanks.

these screen grabs were taken from a 4k display. so i am not talking about the slight loss of resolution in these graphics. I am talking about font size, font type, color.

oh thank you. so you don't see any other differences in the two screen grabs?

none at all? font size, font type, bold, anything like that? and the choices made to use different fonts for titles? do you see any of that?

Ugly sort of pastel colors, as seems to be a trend with young people these days. Lack of contrast and sharp fonts.  Fuzzy feel. I understand that some of these changes do cause fewer electrons to collide with each other on the screen, thus resulting in less global warming and carbon dioxide emissions.  Though it's probably due to new-age particles and hangers-on like bozons, quarks, leptons and other third-world particles.

In lieu of another face lift, I'd suggest shutting the site down 12 hours a day and reverting back to the old format.

On top of the page, there is following preferences, where you can unfollow threads.
