Trump tells Democratic congresswomen to 'go back' to 'fix' countries they came from

"Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said at a June 18 press briefing: “The Obama administration, the Bush administration all separated families. … They did — their rate was less than ours, but they absolutely did do this. This is not new.”"  https://www.factcheck.org/2018/06/did-the-obama-administration-separate-families/

Trump's own people concede it is happening more under Trump than his predecessors.  However, once again, I brought up family separation with regards to the accusation that the four congresswomen were "hate filled".  Have they been advocating family separation?

I wonder where the outrage was when the women in your article were being raped? Why has it only became such a big issue now? Why was the previous administration not taken to task for it?

Again, when you try to control the border, more people will be separated.

The left does not want the border controlled, ant they’re doing all they can to keep it open.

Your second sentence is a desparate deflection.  What makes you think "The left" doesn't care about rapes away from the border, and what does it have to do with this topic?

Because you guys do not give a single care in the world as to WHY children are separated from their 'parents'. And thats because there is widespread (actual widespread, not AOC widespread) evidence that illegal aliens are using children to game the US immigration system, and the fact that children are taken from their 'parents' as a precautionary measure to ensure their safety, just like American citizens do when they commit crimes.

You choose to ignore the horrible actions going on to favor your flavor of politics.

Where in the article does it mention rape during the Obama administration?

Since there is "widespread (actual widespread, not AOC widespread) evidence that illegal aliens are using children to game the US immigration system", you should have no trouble providing evidence supporting your assertion.

That's actually irrelevant to the issue of separating children from their parents.

And I believe that the courts have come down heavily against it. And the fact that when it was exposed the Trump administration rapidly retreated because the condemnation of it was pretty universal. Except for a few morally challenged people.

If Trump's words were not directed to people of colour, as he and his cult followers argue, then why doesn't he say those words to his base.  After all, aren't they the most angry group of all, filled with hate?  Shouldn't they be told to go back from where they came, if they don't like America?

The left deflecting their hate onto the right is one of their most successful propaganda campaigns, second only by their deflection of their racism.

Well you caught me out giving the wrong number for Trump. Seems I over counted his vote. Only 20% voted for Trump in the NY 14th Dist and not 22%. AOC did in fact get 78%. I guess they rather vote socialism then conmanism, 555!

We get it, the left hates Trump and did not and are not going to vote for him.

Your black vote is (apparently) slipping a little though, but all the talk of reparations should shore it up for you.

You must have read the article like you read the Mueller report...

I went over the article again  https://www.factcheck.org/2018/06/did-the-obama-administration-separate-families/ , just to be sure.  The word "rape" isn't used.  You must have not read the article like you didn't read the Mueller report.

I’m sorry, I thought we were talking about this article.

Fact-check, hilarious

What article?

What is hilarious about checking facts?  Trump and the pundits who support him spew out such a high stream volume of lies and distortions that fact checking is a grueling job.

Yet you want as to accept the unacceptable and agree to disagree.

Not at all, but the minds of those who are in disagreement with each other are not going to change, so I wonder if this may apply  " insanity is repeating the same actions and expecting different results."

I think sometimes we have to walk away knowing we can hold the moral high ground, save our energies for another battle

.

Hold the high ground by giving it up? Fight another battle? is this one over?

Sorry buddy we are not going anywhere, hence they come for me next , or even you.

But I commend you on your tolerance of the intolerable , and suggest you take some of your own advice, agree to disagree and save your energy for another argument.

I am not arguing, I am not accepting the "intolerable" , I am merely looking at the matter in a dispassionate manner, and then await the opportunity to assist the battle again.

I am grateful that as dysfunctional as PM of my home country is, they are no where near as dysfunctional as the current POTUS

The article you linked to that discussed the sexual assaults made on migrants under the Obama administration.

Was your link not in my post?

Checking facts is not hilarious, fact checking sites are.

I assume you are being intentionally obtuse.

It always gives me a laugh when Americans use that word, as it is clearly just a dog whistle for the educationally impaired, and the vast majority of the population have no idea what it means at all.

Nearly every country on the planet is a capitalist country. Successful capitalist countries spend a good proportion of their GDP on social programs (Including - to an extent that might surprise you- the USA). This doesn't make them socialist countries, it just means that they have worked out that if you take care of the less fortunate in society, then they are less likely to break into the rich's sacred palaces and separate their heads from their bodies (The guillotine seems to have gone out of vogue). That's not Socialism, it's simple logic. The US is way behind the curve on this compared for instance, to the much more civilized countries of northern Europe. However whatever Bernie et al say they are, they are not socialists, they are just trying to increase the social provision within a capitalist society. They are probably also trying to help people grow up and stop being afraid of the word.

It always gives me a laugh when the citizens of countries with little CS economies lecture Americans about how stupid they are.

Americans look to the nationalized industries in the UK like, gas, electricity, telecoms, coal, steel, airlines, and cars that all failed and were privatized and sold off and don't want that to happen to the USA.  Anything the government touches in America fails so most astute citizens want to limit it's touch.
