77kaoded reported that Thai netizens were having a good natured laugh after posts were made featuring races at games in Petchaboon marking Police Day last week. 

 

Highlight of the event were three 4x100 meter relays featuring the regular police, traffic cops and the investigative branches of the force. 

 

They were all in uniform adding to the spectacle. 

 

Much was made in the story of robbers not being able to get away from these fit cops!

Dont know how much of a difference this'll make, I mean how many robbers steal batons anyway?

We had sports days at our school - wonder if they'll have a sack race and an egg and spoon race

But they are the robbers probably refining their getaway when its them on the vinyl board????

Maybe they should line up against a smash and grab thief and then see who comes first.

They need to come n take a look at the fat police we have in Australia!

Well once they wake up or empty their glasses and finish their food I guess they can run to their cars or motorcycles. Well done BIB I say. Well done indeed.

I wonder if many robberies happened while cops were off with their fun and games. I wonder if they included field events like counter jumping, thinking of that gold theft the other day..

Just how much was in the brown envelope at the finish line they were all chasing?

Foot chases are so cowboys and indians. Its better to use Ford Explorers with turbos and cow catchers. Nobody escapes. Bring out the choppers.

Overshadowed by the blisteringly rapid 100meters Brown Envelope  Dash.

 

And a poor showing in the Social Media Compromise Hurdles.

The only problem is how to get these great athletes out there!

The reality here is that they do a very good run. The first team goes in on a time that is only about 5 seconds over the world record.

Wonder if any of them did a P.J. Proby in those uniforms.

shows they are well trained, at 'the run around' 

very good sports, And after everyone left the event on M/C not wearing a helmet.

I didn't see a robber in the video. How do they know that robbers have no chance?
